Girls’ Fashion Shoot Shows Off Its Character Customization

By Ishaan . November 14, 2013 . 4:00pm

Later this month, Rising Star Games will release Girls’ Fashion Shoot for the Nintendo 3DS in North America and Europe. The game puts you in the role of a model-cum-fashion editor, and you make your way up the fashion ladder by choreographing photo shoots starring yourself. A trailer for the game shows this feature off:

Prior to participating in photoshoots, you’ll get to customize your character. Once your shoot is done, you’ll be able to publish the photos via your fashion magazine and use your riches to upgrade your lifestyle.

Girls’ Fashion Shoot will be available on November 19th in the U.S. and on November 29th in Europe.

  • I like that it’s differentiating itself from Style Savvy, which is the natural comparison for this game. The focus seems to be on modeling rather than store management. I do like the art in SS better, but that’s personal. Do your best, Rising Star! <3

I’m hoping we can change our skin color in this …

  • I believe I am officially going to try and pick this up~. Though first, I want to take my chances and try to win the contest. x’D
I’m kind of excited for the game, and hope more like it will come. Especially if it means each adds more features and stronger immersion (in trying to outdo the other/differentiate itself).

I wish we could get the one that’s like style savvy but more realistically rendered i think and it’s like half store management and half dating sim.

      • That would be really nice~. SS is partway there on the dating sim front too. I can see why they wouldn’t make it official, but they really should anyway lol.

I’m so confused about the release date for this game. Siliconera says the 19th which is, actually my birthday but Amazon says it came out last month and is simply temporarily out of stock. Last week, the gamestop site said the release date was today but they now have the release date listed as the 22nd which is next Friday.

    • I think those are mistakes on the part of the two retailers. We got our info directly from Rising Star, who are the game’s publisher, so that’s probably the safest bet. For some reason, even Nintendo have the game’s release date listed wrongly on their website.

Oh, thanks! Do you know if it will be available through the eshop or physical release only?

        • Both physical and eShop!
