LOL so that is your everyday clothes, Hayate? No wonder you’re always gloomy.

  • fyi1191

Waiting for Marie Rose’s everyday outfit.

    • http://www.ihasnowebsitez.com Satonaka CP-Four

gotta be a schoolgirl outfit, calling it now :)

  • Dark Zerato

Really like Momiji’s outfit. I guess they’re going to release another batch for the rest and DLC for Marie Rose. TK is good at money sucking as usual.

  • midgard229

game has to be the most expensive game ever. every other week launches 15$ worth of dlc. I will wait for DOA Hyper Ultimate

    • Ty Austin

When Ultimate released, there was hardly any free dlc attached to it. So no point in waiting.

    • http://twitter.com/#!/Leafy_Cam Leafhopper

Its costumes, its not required to play the game.

      Buy the ones you like.

      • midgard229

does that mean i dont want them??? what the heck was the point of ultimate then? lol. one new mechanic, and 2 new stages for 40 bucks???? lol. ultimate editions should come with all dlc, period

        • Slayven19

This DLC was made after the game so that’d be impossible to come with all of it that isn’t created yet. Also you forgot about the 2 new characters and ein/leon added to the roster along with jacky bryant as well.

          • midgard229

not impossible lol. its the same game. easily dlc. Little big planet 2 still works with its game of the year counter part, because its the same, just with all dlc.

and 15$ for costumes is insane considering how many their are.

the game didnt even come with all the dlc from the previous game. its not like its a sequel or anything

          • k.b.a.

they really are pushing it with the costumes. on one hand it’s all any fighting game fan wants. not all of them, but a large variety of costumes. SFxT and SFIV gave me war flashbacks of King Of Fighters Maximum Impact. There are those fun party outfits and then there are those “I’m a fighter outfits” as well as the weird urge to own it all. that being said it’s great to have so many options, but it seems to the point where they’re like daring you to buy it all. it’d clearly be a bad idea.

but lots of us come from the age of unlocking everything in a game. instead of just investing time, now we also have to invest quite a bit of money

          • midgard229

exactly, its not fair what so ever. well the new gen just started, lets hope dlc dies down a bit.

i remember DOA2: Ultimate. that game added SO many costumes, boosting kasumi, leifang, ayane from 4 costumes to 20 each without DLC.

thats how this ultimate should have been

          • Slayven19

Technically it did come with all the DLC from the last game, at least all the worthwhile DLC. They didn’t give us some swimsuits that were pre-order and some santa costumes which weren’t worth it anyway.

  • Linhua

… LOL… see what’s gonna happen is… Marie is about to make them a TON of money.

… with all these outfits they keep coming out with for the rest of these characters… by the time she comes to consoles… they are gonna have a CRAP TON of outfits out for her at once and I BET they are gonna give the option of batching it all together for the usual “save you monies” shtick. Calling it now.

… out of four of these though… I only want all of them.

    … … … wait..

  • Shizumasa

    Resist and Wait.

  • EinMugenTenshin

Hm, thinking about picking up Hitomi and Mila

  • fairysun

Hayate, Akira, when I heard casual everyday clothes, I thought something like this.

    • doubleO7

Akira and Hayate’s outfits are considered casual… in Japan.

      • ddh819

oh i thought akira was wearing pajamas or a bathrobe, which would be super-casual

        • EinMugenTenshin

          Hahaha

    • leingod

I would’ve liked something like these way better, actually…

    • http://thespellcraftcolumn.wordpress.com Rudolph Consuegra

      I suppose that’s what Ein is for…

  • doubleO7

I really like this set, although I’d hardly call Hitomi and Ayane’s steampunk outfits “casual.”

Jacky’s costume wins it for the guys for me, and probably Hitomi’s for the girls (although Sarah’s got some serious style going on too).

I’ll probably bite for this one, the complete set is only about $11 which is cheaper than most of the other DLC packs.

  • Yan Zhao

    lol @ Akira and Hayate.

  • Göran Isacson

Huh. Those aren’t that bad, actuall. Dig Elliot and Milas outfits the most, also if that’s Hitomi’s casual gear… does that mean she regularly dresses up in Steampunk fashion in her spare time?

    Because I’m okay with this.

  • http://twitter.com/#!/Leafy_Cam Leafhopper

Damn it KT I just bought 8 dollars worth of costumes the other day, pop idol and Halloween costumes.

    QUIT ATTACKING MY WALLET.

  • Rafael Martines

OMG I really want to buy the full game (actually I’m playing the Core Fighters) but How many customes DLC exists? :(

    • k.b.a.

like 200 worth once it’s all done and released. to the point where you sorta hope they’ve made this the last doa game ever. which wouldn’t be so bad. fresh new starts are always welcome from fighting game devs. in part because if you change up a classic too much, you’ll get a ton of flak. just start new, unless these costumes are the japanese answer to lol and the ftp money printing plan

  • Callonia

Incoming slaughter of our wallets from Marie DLC. Is it legit to accuse of wallet genocide?

    • k.b.a.

if you like little girls i guess. they’re cool sometimes but they’re usually assholes

    • Servant BerserCAR

Dun worry. New characters are free DLC. It is an official statement (promise?) from the developer (loooong time ago).

      • Callonia

        Sweet, didn’t know. thanks xD

  • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

These “plain” clothes are anything but. I really love how they look =)

    • Slayven19

They are if you live in japan in some places.

      • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

        Sadly I do not lol

  • leingod

Hitomi looks smexy! Come on Tecmo, bring some of this stuff to DOA5+

  • Slayven19

I really love Milla’s costume. I will be getting a few of theses but hers is a must for me.

  • David García Abril

Now THIS is the kind of costumes that I wanted to see in DOA!

Loved Momiji, Pai and Jacky. Mila and Elliot aren’t half bad either.

Please, keep them coming, TN! :)

  • Jonathan Tse

love Pai’s, and Sarah’s is just too classy.

  • Hector Velar

    WTB Character creation mode!

  • Loli Summoner

With all these outfits, why don’t they just add a create creation or at least let us customize the characters hair color and style.

  • Sardorim

Hey, Mila got another good outfit. May get it, she’s my favorite character and like that she dresses classy when he’s just going about the day.

  • MVRK HNTR

Momiji is always a fave (ever since her debut in NG: Dragon Sword) but Pai with the short hair is hawt!

Can’t wait to see what Kasumi and Kokoro are going to be wearing.
