Last week, Siliconera reported that Nintendo would release Nintendo 2DS bundles with Pokémon X and Pokémon Y in South Korea. Now, it appears these bundles will be making their way to Europe as well.

Twitter user NintenDaan (via: Polygon) spotted the bundles mentioned at European retailer Intertoys. Meanwhile, another retailer named Toys XL lists the 2DS Pokémon bundles as well.

Nintendo have not yet officially announced these bundles for release in Europe. Meanwhile, Nintendo of America haven’t mentioned any 2DS Pokémon bundles either, with their Thanksgiving 3DS bundle coming with a pre-installed version of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon.

    The colors really bother me.

Looks like the 2DS bundle was a success in Korea, to the point Nintendo is making an encore in Europe.

Anyone else think the versions should be swapped?

How is the 2DS compared to the 3DS? With the recent PersonaQ announcement I am looking to get one cheap

    • FlyingPony

I never had a 2DS since I already have 2 3DS, but from what I read it seems that 2DS is comfortable to hold, although the button placement (analog and face button) make it hard to use the touch screen.

huh thats it? well works fine for PersonaQ and Phoenix wright then.

if you dont mind not having 3D effect, then it’s not bad, feels very good after some use, only issue i find is that it can’t be folded so it may gather dust on the screens, so i leave inside the console’s box for now while i can find/get one of those Nintendo 2DS carry cases.

well i got a Blue 2DS with Pokemon Y, so i would have liked that bundle released earlier, lol.
