when have visual novels ever been in gamestop?!! US almost considers this games taboo (0_o)

    • easter

  • This is a very pretty limited edition.

  • Brimfyre

It was good, and I really liked the characters but the sequel is utter garbage.

I can’t say much more without giving spoilers. But I would almost warn people against this one because the “resolution” in the sequel is so bad and laughable. Pretty art though.

  • Sooo…I’m guessing this is a very mature game?

    • Very. In just about every way you can imagine.

    • M’iau M’iaut

Yes, but it deserves its place as one of the best VNs ever. We covered it extensively, even with the mature themes and adult scenes. I’d encourage anyone to take a look at the older articles and if you are even remotely interested, think about taking the chance. KnS shows the special things that the genre is capable of.

Note this is a true VN — no hybrid side games here. Just use your mind and lose your lunch.

      • i can’t really say KnS is the one of the best VN because the story is quite mediocre though i still admit the drawings and music are superb. In my opinion the best part of the series is the tragedy

go read more VNs and you will eventually find some series that actually got better stories

        • Ouch My Head Said Dionysus

This game really needs a better writer to be considered truly mature and not gore-porn, but the music is top notch.

      • Lunch is expensive since we’re still in a recession. I don’t really feel like losing it. That said, I’ll do some more research and see if this game is worth the purchase. I’m always happy to give the underdogs some of my money.

just ordered. Hope it does not have drm

    • (Kouryuu from MangaGamer here)

Don’t worry. None of our hard copy releases have DRM on them. We’ve tried to make that one of the key selling points for our hard copies even if it does limit the number of titles we can release on hard copy sometimes.

thanks. Obtained the hard copy on December 9th. works perfectly. thank you for the physical release

  • Craig Mikucki

    ORDERED. My body is ready.

  • Foryth

Pre-ordered as soon as I got the e-mail from MangaGamer, letting out a small “woohoo!” as I opened my inbox.

  • As soon as I get home I am ordering this! :D

  • Smooosher than ever

Looks great, I hope it will sell well. Nothing I’d buy myself since I am a big pussy, but great nonetheless, lol.

  • Sapitntapit

Any idea if this will have a downloadable version?
My laptop doesn’t have a disc drive.

    • Ouch My Head Said Dionysus

There’s already a downloadable version on Mangagamer’s website, and has been since 2011. The voices being patched back in is an extra DLC pack, as they just obtained permission this year. I think it’s a modest $5 extra.

      • Sapitntapit

        Sweet, thanks for the info!

  • Aristides

Don’t even know what the game is about but that case is too pretty to pass up :P
