A Glimpse Of Every Song In Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2

By Eugene . November 28, 2013 . 4:33pm

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 is out now and this 10 minute long mega video has all 47 songs from the game in bite-sized chunks, alongside a bevy of the costumes you can change Miku and her friends into.

If you’re wondering just what sort of music types, as well as how the game actually plays, you can see it working including those moments when you’ll need to be jamming on buttons on both sides of the Nintendo 3DS.

Also of note is a small tidbit which showed a fully-working Puyo Puyo mini-game inside it. You’ll even be able to play two-player mode against someone else, with Hatsune Miku characters cheering or being all sad if they win or lose. That’s pretty neat Sega (And probably a generous reminder that Puyo Puyo Tetris is coming next year)

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 is out now for the Nintendo 3DS.

Looks good :D Though I always wonder how is the sound on a 3DS with headphones?

    • nihongogamer

The headphone socket is pretty good quality on the 3DS. I just picked this game up in Japan yesterday and it sounds great, but I feel the 3DS LL’s speakers are not as good at the original 3DS.

    • British_Otaku

Pretty good and likely the only way you will want to hear a 3DS if you care about the audio though you should get decent headphones too.

I’m not an audiophile, but I have enjoyed numerous titles including the demos of Project Mirai 1 and 2 with my headphones which I paid less than $30 or £20 for.

    Puyo Puyo! Chibi Vocaloids!

REGION LOCK!!!! /scream to the heavens

  • HououinKyouma

I want this more and more every day Q___Q.
Rin’s costume at 2:50 and all the costumes at 4:26… so good.

  • FetusZero

I’m still waiting for the day we’ll get a DIVA game with songs like Bacterial Contamination, Hateful Wonderland and Rotten Girl. I know.. it probably won’t ever happen, but still..

    • Stuart Nisbet

rakshasa and carcasses was in extend. i’d say it’s more due to the uh, obscurity, of the producer rather than the subject matter. also i mean, sometimes songs such as those can be more abstract and less of a traditional song.

      • FetusZero

Ah, didn’t think of it that way. Extend is the only “DIVA” I have yet to play (well.. put aside DIVA Arcade), but it’s on my list once I can afford it. I’ll remain hopeful that one day, they’ll start reaching out to those obscure producers instead of reusing the same songs over and over again.

On that note, I would also like Silence to be there :p

        • Stuart Nisbet

i mean, another thing to consider is that highly experimental music, music with chaotic sound, is unlikely to be popular with the target audience. they do, sometimes reach out to obscure producers, but when you consider that they are making this game to sell to fanatics, it’s pretty obvious that the really famous NND stuff will always be top priority.

    > [Shake It!]

Considering Project Diva for the Vita and PS3 did get localized, I hope they localize this too.
Welp, for now I’ll have to settle with Edit PVs ._.

  • M_A_K

SEGGGAAAAA Release this worldwide…even digital release will do! This honestly have a much, much, much better set list compared to Project Diva F IMHO.

At this rate, sooner or later, I need to import a Japanese 3DS to play this.

Stupid Nintendo and their region lock!

EDIT They even include Shake It! Oh Yeah!

  • 하세요

Welp, time to rob a bank for $60. Maybe if I give the teller the specific amount, they’ll delay calling the cops long enough that I’ll get a few songs in.

    Wait, what?

  • Muddied_Waters

Placed an order for the game right after watching the video. Won’t be able to play it when it arrives, due to lack of Japanese 3DS…but I guess I can caress and sniff the box and play Project Diva instead until I get one.

  • Neppygear

I don’t have a 3DS but gosh darn it I still want Sega to bring this over so I can play it when I do.

  • Serge

I haven’t been so excited about Vocaloid since the Google Chrome ad.
Please, Sega, localize this. I need it.

  • man… fuck region locking v_v

  • Ayana Colville

Who wants to sign a petition stating how this game should be localized ASAP.
