Microsoft Japan made another Games With Gold switch. Instead of giving out Gears of War this month, Japan gets Halo Wars as a free game with an Xbox Live Gold membership.

Why? Gears of War is rated CERO Z in Japan, which is an adults only rating and Microsoft doesn’t give CERO Z titles out as Games With Gold in Japan. Resident Evil Code: Veronica replaced Dead Rising 2 in Japan and JoyRide Turbo was given out in place of Fable III.
