The original Tomb Raider is coming to iOS devices today, Square Enix have announced. The game will cost £0.69/$0.99/€0.89.

Tomb Raider was developed by Core Design and originally released in 1996 for the PC and PlayStation One. In 2007, Crystal Dynamics developed a remake of the game, titled Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and tied it into their own take on the series’ story. Crystal Would later go on to reboot the franchise a second time with 2013’s Tomb Raider.

Note that the iOS release of Tomb Raider doesn’t feature any upgrades to the original game. It’s simply the original with controls optimized for touch screens.

Good luck controlling lara with those touch controls…

Its rough enough doing it on a controller lol

*killing laura in various inventive ways.
I loved especially the video compilations: “Lara vs the Boulder”, “Lara vs the Door” and (even if it’s from the fifth game) the “NOW LARA Jump”. They never get old.

Yeah! It’s gonna be more like playing Twister with your fingers more than Tomb Raider. I already can imagine someone in Saint Francis Folly avoiding lions and gorillas while pressing Action + Jump + Roll xD

It’s already a pain with a controller or a keyboard. I don’t even want to try killing wolves and bats in this version
