Funky Kong Takes Over The Shop In Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Earlier in the month, Nintendo announced that Cranky Kong will be a playable character in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. This morning, they showed off a trailer featuring Cranky and


Cranky will have his own moves in the game, including the ability to bounce off enemies and obstacles using his cane. Additionally, if you collect 100 bananas in a stage, you can pull off a new move called the KONG-Pow, which turns all enemies on the screen into items.


Taking Cranky’s place to manage the in-game shop will be Funky Kong, who will offer items for trade. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will be available on February 21st in North America and Europe.

    I’d love to see what Ducktales gameplay would give with the Nintendo touch, regardless of the fact this is blatant plagiarism. (Well, Capcom did it before so it’s even :P )
