Merry Christmas From Street Fighter X All Capcom, Here’s Christmas Roll And Lillith

By Spencer . December 19, 2013 . 11:18pm

Capcom made holiday costumes for Lilith from Darkstalkers and Roll from Mega Man for Street Fighter X All Capcom, a crossover card game for smartphones.

Street Fighter X All Capcom has characters from Resident Evil, Rival Schools, Okami, and Asura’s Wrath. Zero from Mega Man X was added to the game recently too. As of now, Street Fighter X Capcom is only available in Japan.

How about we all just enjoy the holiday themed art, like I don’t know… most normal people?

It’s better than being bitter and cynical during the most wonderful time of the year.

  • dahuuuundge

Zero could use a Santa hat too

    • crimsonidol

His helmet is red and white so he only needs a bobble on it.

These arts are foru Street Fighter X All Capcom but there’s no art for a Street Fighter-char.

    • J_Joestar

His whole color scheme is already very Christmasy with all the red and white.

  • fairysun

Roll looks really cute on that Santa attire.

    • J_Joestar

      Roll is always adorable.

After seeing Lilith, I would really appreciate a new Darkstalkers game. In a normal fashion, of course. No Free-2-Play. Free-2-Play sucks big time.

    • Ronldbx6

I’m not really feeling this whole gimmick fad of Free-2-Plays either.

      • Lucky Dan

Free 2 Play = Pay 2 Win in most cases.

      • megaten666

Also it’s a gimmick that should die, like, right now. It’s like taking DLC douchebaggery to a whole new level. I can’t believe how low gaming industry can get. And the best part is, they think they are right. I said it once somewhere else, I say it again: the day, when developers decide to take out offline versus from a fighting game, that day will be the beginning of a very sad era for gamers :(

Alright, take it elsewhere. You’ve said enough of your opinions on this stuff, and it is pretty off-topic here.

    • Crimson_Cloud

With graphics like new Guilty Gear Xard? Yes please.

      • megaten666

Sadly, that’s ArkSysWorks technology. The best we could hope for is MvC3 graphics.
I’m curious how ASW will manage to pull of this whole 2D but 3D stuff. Or 3D but 2D, I don’t know, but it’s effin’ awesome :D

        • Crimson_Cloud

MVC is pretty good. And hey, having a BlazBlue’s crispy 2D is enough as well.
ASW must have come back from the future. Look at Millia’s pre-fight clip and look at her sexy legs. That smooth animaton is unbelievable. XD

          • megaten666

I know what you mean :D
I think there is nothing futuristic in GGXrd’s graphical style. It’s more of a design choice. A 2D animation is consisted about fixed poses a character make during -let’s say- a punch. In theory, the same can be achieved, when we take a 3D character model, set it up to the same poses the 2D counterpart make during the animation, then register the poses in a way, so with a single button press, we can call the poses to play one after another, creating an animation in a 2D fashion with a 3D model.

  • As someone not intimately familiar with Darkstalkers, I am struggling to process the concept of a “Christmas Lilith”.

    • megaten666

The character Lilith both in action and personality has nothing to do with the any religion as far as I know. It’s just the name :)

This reminds me of a capcom calendar I saw online. Seeing Guy in a Santa hat and running with a satchel over his shoulder was hilarious
