Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance PC Pre-Order at 47% Off (Beats Steam Winter Sale)

Fans of Metal Gear will notice that pre-orders of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is 33% off during Steam’s 2013 Holiday Sale at an attractive price of $19.99 — but hold onto your wallet because Revengeance is also discounted at Gamefly (update: now at GMG) for the very same Steam key. Plus, you can stack a 20% off coupon, giving you a total of 47% off. Not bad.

Use coupon GMG20-ZB5D1-93X49 to get the game for $15.99 at GMG (unfortunately US only). So if you’re not in the US, you’re stuck with Steam’s price (£15.40 in UK, €18.75 in EU and $19.99 in AU) which is still pretty darn good.

With the PC port of the game being released less than a month away, we were rather surprise Konami decided to allow retailers to discount the game so heavily, but maybe it’ll work in Konami’s favor as they pick up new fans for the IP. The game has been well-reviewed on the PS3 and 360, so here’s hoping to a decent PC port (all DLCs are included in the PC version).

Too bad the other Pre-Order DLC costume still aren’t available.

On the steam page it says:

“This new PC version includes all three DLC missions: Blade Wolf, Jetstream, and VR Missions, in addition to all customized body upgrades for Raiden, including: White Armor, Inferno Armor, Commando Armor, Raiden’s MGS4 body, and the ever-popular Cyborg Ninja.”

Is that not all of the costumes?

They are on XBL in Europe. Have you checked recently?

Damn, I thought it would be a nice price, but it still isn’t cheaper than BR Steam price(14,32 dollars).

I can’t even find it on my Steam…only found the launch trailer, but after I clicked it, it says “This item is currently unavailable in your region”….

    Goddamn region locks.

I see the game at 13.39€ here in Europe, which is pretty good.

Cool, thank you! No reason to keep the Steam preorder since no Snow Globe cards are included with preorders.

Hmm, code doesn’t appear to be working for me in the US
