Woah, I’m liking the art there~

    • makubexnas

Brace yourself, waifu wars is coming.

      • Spider-Man

You better stop eyeing my waifu like that…

  • Stranger On The Road

Now that is a well thought of bounce, it has my seal of approval. Makes wonder how the battle will be fought in that dress!

Now regarding the English localization announcement, we are still waiting you know!

    Localization, please?

    • Balalaika

I really love SAO and I get exited with every new screen shot and bits of news but I doubt Japan with port this due to issues like license fees, and lack of awareness of the series in the West. Crunchy Roll does translate the anime to English so people in the west may have heard of it but that community is small. If it was a more well known franchise like Naruto (bleh!!) it might sell and break even. Only real hope is that the vita is hacked and some group decides to do a fan translation but that would be bad for the system aswell so we are out of luck unless we learn Japanese.

      • http://rinshibooty.tumblr.com/ rinshibooty

The show is on Toonami if that helps.

        • Balalaika

Cool didn’t know that, will check them out.

          • David García Abril

I’m afraid that’s not enough yet.

Getting a community as big as “Naruto” takes time.

Plus, we have to face the fact that SAO have some elements that prevents it from being mainstream in the West.

Damn that ALO arc and its incest and tentacle rape…

          • Balalaika

I really wish to get SAO localized but the market for it is too small here in the US. Sometimes I wish I was born in Japan instead since they always get the good stuff >.>

        • Renaldi Saputra

          the anime popularity doesn’t help
like digimon fusion’s popularity doesn’t affect on digimon world re:digitize decode’s localization, but they keep giving some merchandises like figure, cards, etc… though

      • dark-kyon

namco bandai simply hates psvita in the west to them is how the xbox 360 in japan, they have the ps3 to put his games in the west and make money.if only psvita sell in the west how 3ds maybe namco bandai can begin to bring these anime games in the west now what his quality is begin to get better.

        • TheExile285

People need to stop saying this. Namco is one of the Vitas biggest supporters in Japan. It doesn’t do as well in NA & EU which is why we don’t get these types of games from them.

They are localizing the Vita version of DBZ Battle of Z.

          • Lynx

We don’t get anything really from Namdai that’s not a Naruto, DBZ, Tales or Souls game.

            Its a loop.
The Vita isn’t selling well because they are no games for it. Because there’s not many games, people aren’t buying it so publisher don’t think its worth it.

Also; Namdai Japan = / = Namdai America.

That’s part of the reason Bandai Ent. went under. They don’t know how to handle NA’s market at all.

          • TheExile285

While that is true, its not Namco’s job to make sure a system sells well, its the console manufacturer (Sony).

If anything, we should wonder why Sony is wasting money on stuff like GoW port to Vita instead publishing some Japanese Vita games localized or why whenever they release a first party Vita game, it gets almost zero marketing.

Also, Namco has or is localizing

            - One Piece Pirate Warriors 2

            - One Piece Romance Dawn 3DS (Which is the first OP game to get a physical release in awhile….)

            - JoJo PS3

            - Saint Sayia PS3

That is more than just Tales and Souls games. Doing pretty well now IMO. A few months back when they pulled crap like this, I would have agreed with you guys but they actually localize stuff now and it shows.

(^Posted those to prove a point. Game is being localized in NA and EU now).

          • Lynx

            - One Piece Pirate Warriors 2

            Jump game.

            - One Piece Romance Dawn 3DS (Which is the first OP game to get a physical release in awhile….)

Jump game. And limited release at that.

            - JoJo PS3

            Jump game AND Cyberconnect2 game.

            - Saint Sayia PS3

Digital only at full retail price.

          • TheExile285

What else is there that Namco makes? And DD only at full price is better >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dog Crap >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> nothing.

          • Renaldi Saputra

meanwhile toriko and digimon which are still jump related didn’t get a chance :(

          • Renaldi Saputra

meanwhile Namdai US gives us a pacman game, ugghh

          • dark-kyon

my comment is only with respect to namcobandai in the west,in japan namco bandai is a of the best third party developers.

            http://www.hardcoregamer.com/2013/07/17/namco-bandai-trash-talks-the-ps-vita/

          • TheExile285

Its a shame to see that is a recent posting but the view of one idiot doesn’t represent the views of an entire company. i’d find it hard for any company to hate something that could potentially provide profit. it’d be like a painter hating paint. if the paint doesn’t provide the best results that is different.

    • Renaldi Saputra

      1. namco bandai
      2. SAO is not a jump related series
      3. anime adaptation game
      4. PS Vita
      5. no SAO gaming trademark is registered in US

      means very low chance

  • D-Omen

Another franchise joins Fire Emblem on the waifu dress train. :P

    • O_O Master Clueless

atleast Fire Emblem Wedding dress makes the char super support and use Bows and Lances

  • brostar

If I buy early can I kill Kirito and play the game with a better protagonist?

    • Luke Blackwood

In fact, I believe that you can fully customize Kirito so that he doesn’t even slightly resemble the original one at all xD

  • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

I’d pre-order it if it came with a real wedding dress that looked like that :3

  • Roberto

    Cute :3

  • Learii

Will you marry me my dear Asuna?

  • http://thrust-the-sky.deviantart.com/ WildArms

  • http://people.ign.com/rob1610 rob1610

Can you upload images of the other chicks in wedding dresses, please? Actually, Silica is the only one I really wanna see. She’s my favourite character and I’d love to see her in different cosplay outfits. :3
    (I can’t believe what I’m typing. xD)

  • natchu96

Hate to be a party pooper, but . . .

Yeah, good luck beating a floor boss in that.

  • Zonder88

Namco Bandai even localized Saint Seiya, a series I love but has a near non-existent fanbase in the US, but they cant localize this? :<
