If only i had money! WAAAAAAAAAA!!!

  • Thatguy

    Meanwhile, in Europe…
Edit: who can say about Europe sale of Atlus? Is there any? Can’t access Eshop before 2nd January, because of crap internet connection

    • Herok♞

your names the come better since your thatguy.

    • Pedro Tavares

They dont publish their games here I believe, so they dont give us discount.

We dont even have half of those games anywya since they dont give a crap about us.

      Inc downvotes

      • Ric Vazquez

My soul cries for you guys but hey, you got Bravely Default first :)

        • Pedro Tavares

Thats something and lucky for you guys atleast you dont have to wait 2 years to get it, its kinda weird though, its basicly US ready, since its US VAs, US English, weird it didnt come out there also.

*insert random raging comment about EU and SMT4 here*

    in fact…

*insert random raging comment about EU and Atlus game here*

    • WarZidane

Pretty much the biggest reason I imported my 3DS is Atlus. Of course, the downside is having to wait 2 months longer for Bravely Default.

    • Saraneth

Atlus doesn’t have an EU branch. There isn’t anything they can do if the EU publishers are slow. Blame Nintendo.

      • malek86

I still find it incredibly baffling that Atlus doesn’t have an EU branch yet. They are arguably bigger than other publishers like NIS, Marvelous, etc. but those still managed to establish some presence in Europe.

        • Arcana Wiz

          this :(

      • Jisgsaw

Even if they don’t have a PAL branch (let’s not forget our Australian friends :) ), they’re still blamable for not having picked up a fast PAL publisher after all these years.

And the delays on games like Arena are totally their fault for example (no PAL build = publisher can’t do anything).

What’s beginning to become worrysome is the total lack of info about a PAL SMT IV release, 6 months later…

        • Tord Runnman

The announcement was mid April. Make that 8½ months ago.

      • Pedro Tavares

That just means they dnt give a crap about us, doesn’t mean anything else, like people are pointing out, smaller and bigger companies all have branches here, Atlus is pretty damn big, even if they have their financial problems now.

        • TheRealMalek

Now that they have been bought by a lesss “shadowy” company they should have less problems.

They care about us but i think that they just have a really bad developpement line for creating “european build” (if you don’t know europe requires specific things on their games, like usa and japan. It will be better next year for europe because noa and noe validation team and requirement are going to fuse. But it will mean us games are going to be delayed)

      • Tord Runnman

They could give us a heads up on what the fuck is going on. They still haven’t even told us who is publishing the game here.

    • TrueDefault

This is why I’m glad Persona 5 will be on the ps3! Import galore!

  • Nanaki

I have all of these…I did a good job!

    • RagingTiger44

      I don’t. Sniff…

  • Sales are doing really well for Atlus games on the 3DS it seems, with that even PersonaQ is coming out for it… I wonder if there’s a chance for previous Persona games to get a port to the 3DS, cause I would love to replay them~

  • James Enk

can anyone tell me if those frequent discounts mean the games sell well or not?

    • Shadow Bloodedge

Last time I remember a discount of this scale, it was to herald a new title (EO Untold at the time caused a discount to EO 4). Maybe it’s to herald in their recent title? (Considering that it;s six titles only related by publisher in this case, I’m willing to bet they’re pushing sales before they fire Conception II at our wallets~

  • ZnTxn

    Still on discount, F.O.E!

With the exception of Soul Hackers, I bought all of those already In fact, I always end up buying games that later get a discount or become free.
(I’m looking at you Soul Sacrifice and Virtue Last Reward)

    • Afternoon Intergalactic

You should reconsider soul hackers. Im playing through it right now and am thoroughly impressed by the atmosphere of the game even though the visuals seem antiquated.

      • Shadow Bloodedge

I think what @zntxn:disqus is trying to say is he simply hasn’t yet picked up Soul Hackers. I hear naught but good things of it, so this is the best time to do so!

  • Blackchaos_Tai

did they discount the dlc for smt4 again? i missed it the last time

  • Raltrios

I’ve already got 4/6. One I wouldn’t touch with a 20-foot rusty poleax, and the other I’ll wait until I’ve finished the rest of my buildup to play…

  • Pandakids09 .

Why doesn’t Ghostlight just release Atlus games in Europe like how they did with the Persona 3

  • Juan Manuel M. Suárez

Is SMTIV really $50? Not even PSV games are that expensive (excluding Uncharted and Cod)~.

    • Trinity

When it came out, the price was justified because it came with one of the nicest first pressings I have ever seen. But I STILL do not get why it’s that price.

      • Juan Manuel M. Suárez

Well, retail is one thing. But this is the eShop, my question was legit, mind you. It surprised me to see a 3DS game for $50 (outside of this sale, of course) and I asked to know whether that price is right or maybe it was a typo~.

        • Trinity

Yeah, that’s the actual price. I don’t know why.

  • Should I get EO:IV? =S

    • Yes. It’s great fun. :D Have you played any of the games in the series before?

      • Finished 1 and 2 and went only halfway through 3 :/ can’t remember how the story went through those however hahaha.
Played the demo and I liked it so far…

  • new_tradition

Soul Hackers is mighty tempting. I didn’t get it at debut since SMT4 was coming out fairly quickly after, but I think its too big for my puny 2gb sd card D:

    • Zero_Destiny

I got it digitally, it’s a great game if you’re into the older style of RPGs. But it is 14, 795 blocks. A bit over 8,000 blocks is equal to 1 GB, so yeah, you’re probably outta luck, sorry.

Etrian Odyssey IV is a surprisingly small 5,715 blocks though and was pretty fun. If you were interested in that.

  • Blackchaos_Tai

is the dlc for smt4 on sale too? I missed it the last time and id like to get it all at once.

  • Kid Kuma

Overclocked is really good, if anyone’s looming for a game to spend some time with I’d definitely recommend that one.

  • Trinity

Would this have anything to do with the fact that Nintendo’s eShop went down last week and people couldn’t access it to get to the sales?

(oh and FYI, as of about 20 minutes ago, the eShop is down yet again. Pity. I was going to buy Soul Hackers).
