Touch Detective Returns This Spring, For Now Have A Funghi Puzzle Game

By Spencer . January 8, 2014 . 1:25am

image Beeworks has been working on new Touch Detective stuff after Funghi became a popular mascot character in Japan. Touch Detective Rising 3 which was announced last year has been slotted for spring 2014 instead of a 2013 release as originally planned.

In the meantime, Success Corp will re-release Touch Detective: Funghi’s Big Breed for Nintendo 3DS. Players match Funghi and dozens of his cousins in this match three puzzle game. Originally, this was a web game and last year it was released for 3DS. The re-release, Touch Detective: Funghi’s Big Breed Good Price, will come out on March 13 in Japan.

I want both of these games soooooooooo bad. I love this series greatly.

  • I really hope this gets localized~!

As one of the five people who played and enjoyed the Touch Detective series (despite the repetitive Apartment music), I hope this gets localized.

Should have stayed on 5 likes :(

  • Yay, other Beeworks fans :)

Personally, I hope they continue with releasing their stuff in English on Android (‘cos I’m a cheapskate).

I bought the first two games hoping this would get localized and I really enjoyed them. Please, Atlus/XseeD/anyone! >_<

  • Lumi

Hope this is going to be a main series Touch Detective game istead of a spinoff

If the JP version can be played on a US 3DS through flashcart I’ll seriously consider buying a 3DS finally
