How Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Will Connect To Tablets

By Ishaan . January 15, 2014 . 11:58pm

Earlier today, Metal Gear Solid director Hideo Kojima took to Twitter to show off images of the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’ “second screen” features.

Kojima tweeted: “Testing on Xbox One with multiple tablets today. We’ve put Snake’s ‘iDroid’ terminal on the screen during the game.” He attached the above image along with the tweet.

Kojima then followed up with another tweet, demonstrating that the in-game map can be displayed on a tablet device as well.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in March. The game has been demonstrated running on PC at various events, but a PC release has not yet been announced.

He bought it recently with Predator 3D. Now he shows it off in all his screens. (For the record, he doesn’t have a 3DTV.)

    Tested with Sony tablet LOL

The feature would make most sense on a Wii U and VITA.

How? It makes just as much sense on smart glass… All it is, is a map, as long as you have a touchscreen you’re set

Vita works for PS4 Second Screen features anyway, unless it’s a weirdo mobile app separate from official second screen.

    • E.T.993

Splinter Cell did it first on Gamecube so that you could connect it to the GBA for a map.

Yo can use Vita for it too, but this game will not come on WiiU.

Hopefully big smartphones are compatible too. Though I will be using a Vita. The tablet functionality looks amazing on the Xbox One. Good on the Xbox base.
