Ace Attorney 123: Wright Selection Gets Pre-Order Art Book, Drama CD

By Eugene . January 24, 2014 . 12:32pm

Ace Attorney 123: Wright Selection is a re-packaging of the first three Ace Attorney games with stereoscopic 3D for the Nintendo 3DS. But that doesn’t mean Capcom will keep it simple. If you order the game via the e-Capcom store, more expensive options include an “all new” drama CD called “Sudden Combination” or an art book, which collects sketches and other art from the first three games.

Pre-orders will also have three pixel-art based versions of the characters including Phoenix himself as a “reflect charm”. These are shiny reflective straps you can attach to bags and what not that will reflect light when light shines on them. Note that the art book and straps, at least, are an e-Capcom exclusive.

The cheapest option will already come with those “reflect charms,” while if you want to cough up for the art book, the cheapest set you will want to buy costs 5,200 yen (US$52). An “everything, with cheese” option which includes all the goodies will run you 6,200 yen. You can order them here.

The Drama CD sounds cool. It might even have a short case in its entirety along with comedic skits. Too bad that out of any extra goodie that has a tough time making it to the west, drama CDs have virtually no chance of making it.

Oh my god, imagine a fully translated English-dubbed drama CD being released in the west. *drools* Will never ever happen though :( There’s a small chance some gracious fan might sub it on YouTube though.

    No Mia Fey Mousepad?

I own the original trilogy on my DS in addition to AA4 and AAI…..and I still want this game :( Since I started playing AADD I’ve been in an AA mood, and really feel like re-playing all the games. I really hope to hear about AA6 before E3 this year.

I have the Jpn and us ver of all the games too.. Would love both the drama CD and artbook but a pain to order the E Capcom edition just like from S-E store thru agent :( and cost much more.. For gyakuten 5, I only got regular, thought the pouch, figure, and stickers weren’t that worth it. This cover art is amazing, good representation of the trilogy’s main cast, drool at Mia/Chihiro :)… actually the real cover seems to have only Pearl and not Mia lol, bait..

if I’m reading that right, you only get one of the reflector charms randomly D: time to send offerings to try and get chibi digital Phoenix…

yeah, just 1 out of 3, man I want Franziska and Godot too :) This actually has better bonus than the DD LE though. I always prefer artbook, OST, or drama CD, but ordering E-capcom or S-E store LE is a pain :(.. actually all up for pre-order on P-A now.. w/ shipping, the artbook LE is over $100, about $50 more than just the CD LE, wonder if it’s worth it.. seems like the art is selected from the previous 3 official fanbooks.. I think I would just get the one w/ the drama CD..

They did a similar thing with the E.X. Troopers limited edition, I would think it makes sense to give everything in the other editions if the item is a low value thing for completion’s sake. It isn’t going to get people to buy multiple limited editions as much as resellers to sell those charms for $30 each.

  • WingsOfEternity

It should’ve came with a PaPa Beanie and a Blue Badger plushie

  • Lumi

    Drool.

  • Romancer Ecclesia

I have the trilogy on my iPad. It only cost me $5 during the promotion.
