Is Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity Getting Pulled In Prep For Phantasy Star Nova?

Recommended Videos

Heads up—the PlayStation Store in Japan has put out notice that Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity for the PSP will be pulled off digital store shelves come the 19th of February.

The game—which was released in 2011—is now going for the reduced price of just 500 yen ($5) until then. Take note, however, that the game will only work on a PlayStation Portable and not the Vita.

With Phantasy Star Nova on the way some time this year for the Vita, this sounds like it might be a move in preparation for the arrival of that title. Well, time to retire those Pizza Hut spears, I suppose.
