Though it’s peaked my interest, I find there is some I like but don’t like about this game… Don’t know what it is though.

    • fenix7

How can you have dislikes when there hasn’t be much info on the game?

      • WolfDuo

I’m going by the trailer, which should be some sort of indication of what the games going to be like.
        And like I said. I don’t know what it is that I don’t like…

        • fenix7

Heard some trailers are totally opposite to the final game haha. This should be some what similar to S1 or S2. hopefully we will get some gameplay footage soon.

  • Letiumtide

It’s unfortunate that it’s no longer the same developer as Sacred 2, an amazingly self aware game, great comedy and gameplay. That said I’m still willing to give this one a shot, I’m intrigued that there had been little to no information about it and then BAM summer.

Loved Sacred 2, but no Ascaron has me worried just a tad. We’ll have to wait and see how 3 shakes down.

  • pekikuubik

    Where’s the gameplay?
And more importantly, where’s the gratuitous power metal?

    • theBridgeburner

      Needs moar Blind Guardian!

      • Tinye

I pushed the back button on my browser just to upvote you. :)

        • theBridgeburner

          Thanks! Lol

  • fenix7

Played a lot of S1 and S2, it got me into the ARPG genre, can’t wait for this, trailer looks cool.

  • Anewme…Again

I was so excited for this game 2 years ago until i saw that it was a really linear 4 co-op game…
Not at all like the previous 2 Sacred.

    • fenix7

Where does it say that? Hope there is a rly big world to explore like the first 2. That’s part of the reason I liked it.

      • Anewme…Again

There was a set of screenshots they showed a few years ago.
All the screenshot had a linear map and none showed the world…
Lot of peoples complained and so developers said they would change that and that’s probably why it took so long before the release.
Sacred 3 was supposed to be release a long times ago.

But i’m not sure if we can trust them, so i will wait until after i saw some gameplay video after the release before i decide to buy it.

        • fenix7

Ah so that’s y it took so long to develop, hope they did change and add in a huge world and Many many quests. I will give them the benefit of the doubt since i am a bit biased, since sacred was the game that got me into ARPG.

Hope they don’t change the combat arts system too much, I liked it. S2 expanded on it with different unique choices.

          • Anewme…Again

Sacred 3 isn’t made by the same developers who did 1-2, so that’s why i’m not sure if i can trust them.
1-2 was made by Ascaron, but the third is made by Deep Silver.

          • fenix7

I thought they kept a few of the programmers, don’t remember though. Hope they don’t butchered it too badly. Sacred mostly got mediocre reviews thru the media, so it can’t get any worse… right??

          • theBridgeburner

As long as it still retains that Sacred feel, I’m good. But if there’s a lack of exploration, wittiness, self-awareness, and skill customization… I’ll be less inclined to pick up Sacred 3.

          • Deep Silver is only publishing the game, the developer for 3 is Keen Games, while 1 & 2 were co-developed by Ascaron & Studio II Software. But I’ve read that Deep Silver is asking fans of the Sacred series at their forums about what they want to see in the game and what not..

    • theBridgeburner

Are you thinking of Sacred: Dark Citadel or whatever, that arcade game from last year? That’s what you’re describing.

  • ragingmerifes

Looks like some generic medieval WRPG with CGI from a PS2 game…

And that sounds amazing. I never played the other two but after doing a quick research I guess it’s one of those games where you just play for dozens of hours without much whining about graphics or complex plot. That’s really nice.

  • Learii

they remove offline play? I hope this one better then Sacred 2

  • Kelechuckuw K.c.W

Looks real cool. I’ll have my eye out watching for this

  • Göran Isacson

Never seen the Sacred series before… they sound like ARPGs from the comments here. Are we talking like Diablo style gameplay here, or Gothic?

    • theBridgeburner

Definitely Diablo-esque. But with humour and tons of content and a massive overworld map.

  • Vash bane

lol how they going to get down?
