Atelier Ayesha Plus Video Shows Us What’s New For Vita

By Spencer . March 4, 2014 . 11:19pm

Tecmo Koei and Gust have a portable version of Atelier Ayesha for PlayStation Vita. Like other "plus" games Atelier Ayesha Plus includes all of the DLC from the PS3 version plus has additional content.

Gust added Album Missions to the game which unlock picture panels. Players can fight new bosses including monsters from Atelier Escha & Logy and if you want even more of a challenge you can play through the game in hard mode. Atelier Ayesha Plus also has a bunch of new costumes.

Atelier Ayesha Plus comes out on March 27 in Japan.

Goddd, please come over to the West! It’s a shame how New Rorona and this’ve come out so close to each other, with (I’m pretty sure?) no word on either making it over.
I’ve played through Totori and Meruru so far on Vita, and I’d love more! I know people lambaste Ayesha’s alchemy system pretty hard and it didn’t seem to get the same reaction from fans as Arland, but what I’ve heard of the OST is fantastic, and the color choices and character designs and and… gghblorfgoomsplt

I’m starting to wonder if we’ll get New Atelier Rorona…that remake looks sooooo much better than the original D:

      • Tecmo-Koei Europe’s Twitter feed responded to a fan asking by saying they weren’t working on it and asking if we even wanted it.

        • Kornelious

That;s the one remake that showed actuall graphics improvement and was released on the PS3 and Vita, so if it does come over, a physical release would be nice for once, cause I would definently pick up both version if they do :D

I kinda liked Ayesha. It was awesome in some aspects, but lacked so much in others. Wish it had more monster variety and character development…not sure this port will fix that. Some were decente or good(Lilca, Ayesha, Keithgriff,Wilbell) but others were WAY underdeveloped (Juris).

I hated most of the NPCs as well, except Marietta. Ernie and that f******* bard. Oh God.

The story kinda falls apart on the ending sequences too..although the Dusk background is still fantastic…soooooo getting Escha & Logy this Friday :D

Ok before people really start asking about localization I’ll say just give it time. It took time(months after japanese release) before they gave us totori, meruru, ayesha and now escha & logy. If people just have patience and just wait until its actually out in japan first we’d get somewhere. Spamming the comments section here isn’t gonna make it come any faster.

but in doing so, developers will see that people are interested in the game.

    • chibidw

Yeah, we should just keep silent and give them no indication that we want it.

      • Kumiko Akimoto

Yeah because it worked before apparently

      • MrSirFeatherFang

I think it would be best to indicate that you (or we) want the games by contacting Tecmo-Koei via their official Twitter or Facebook page, rather than the comments section here.

        • chibidw

I feel as though both channels are equally valid because the idea that companies don’t have marketing teams that occasionally check outlets like these for consumer interest is an absurdity.

      • FitzpatrickPhillips

You can show interest in a game without spamming nonsense.

        • chibidw

So… financial analyses of the feasibility of localizing Atelier Rorona to a western audience given portable gaming trends in an increasingly mobile market?

          • FitzpatrickPhillips

Did you read what I just posted? You can show interest in localization by discussing the contents of the article in a positive light. Spamming “localization lets go!!!” a hundred times is just annoying.

Whats the song in the trailer??

  • Tom_Phoenix

I wonder if this song will be the new intro for Atelier Ayesha Plus =P

  • artemisthemp

This will most likely not come out before 2015

  • Adam Zaorski

i WILL BUY IT as soon as it comes out in ENG in EU or US.

    It looks so good…

  • Maria Garcia

the game is ps vita tv compatible if anyone is interested btw
