5pb Picks Up Experience’s Dungeon Crawler Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss

Experience, the makers of Demon Gaze, was working with Cyberfront on a sequel to Labyrinth Cross Blood: Infinity. While Cyberfront dissolved their gaming division, Experience’s dungeon RPG was not canceled.

Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss now has a new publisher, 5pb. The game has been rescheduled for release on July 24 in Japan. No word on an international release, but a few of 5pb’s games get localized like Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds.

This might increase the chance of a localization :D And when did Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds get localized?

    • Anesia Hunter

PB: BG showed up on XBLA over a year ago, launched worldwide (like most XBLA games) in February 2013.

We’ll see what happens with the Vita port just released in Japan, but wouldn’t be terribly shocking to see it at least get an western PSN release.
