those games are the ones we got for the ambassador program on the 3DS D:!!!…. Well not all of them but there are some, you guys should bring snes games for the 3DS VC i need to play snes games on the go u.u

  • flameraver64

I want my Golden Sun 3DS sequel!

    • John Pena

The game kind of end in a cliffhanger,

    • RmanX1000

Gotta say, i wouldnt be against that. Or Isaac being playable in Smash 4,

      • Ric Vazquez

Agreed with both of you, me wants.

    • artemisthemp

Is Golden Sun even available on Estore for 3DS?

      • Shuga Suenaga

“eShop” and no its not available :v

  • John Pena

    freaking love Golden Sun.

  • Chim_era

Golden Sun is my favorite game of all time along with his successor. This game truly changed me from a casual gamer to an dedicated player of all RPG’s. I just hope the ds version gets a sequel, because while it was not a bad game I had the feeling it wasn’t a good GS game. They need to set some things straight

    • MaximDualBlade

number 3 just created more plotholes and they even forgot about the main theme with a mocking “The End…?” at the end XD

      • grevlinghore

I heard that Dark Dawn had points of no return, as in: you´d reach points in the game where you would be unable to go back where you came from. I also heard that it was easy to level up to the point of overpoweredness, and those two factors were enough to make me just not want Dark Dawn at all. I ended up kind of ignoring its existence.

I like to think that there´s still hope for a third installment of Baten Kaitos though. It´s not like cult classics haven´t been graced with new installments when we least expect it, and Monolithsoft are clearly alive and kicking still. Plus, the Wii U gamepad could actually be incorporated in a meaningful way in that type of game…

        • MaximDualBlade

A new baten kaitos with a independent story to the gamecube ones and references to those games. I could even like a “univeral rewind” and remake the story of the first 2 games in one game. With a timeskip in the middle and tons of new stuff.

tldr: I would buy a wiiu for a new baten kaitos

          • Chim_era

A new Baten Kaitos would be more than welcome. Those games were like playing a dream. Although I’m not sure I would buy a Wii U for it. I bought the gamecube for Tales of Symphonia and almost every other console for a specific game. The Wii U has to come with something super special because I just can’t see it’s merits.

          • MaximDualBlade

A really beautiful game. Mira looked just like a dream. And the games were full of life and backstory.

  • Combo

Reminds me of the old Wii VC days, when we would regularly get five or six games a week. Oh how times have changed.

  • Go2hell66

Battle Network 1-6 and you can have my money

  • JoJo_718

Looks definitely good, but I’d prefer them on the 3DS too.

    Golden sun is amazing!!!

    • grevlinghore

      So very true.

  • powerlessbump

A rom of a port that was ported from an already existing rom on the eshop.

I wonder if it will get deeper.

    • http://www.siliconera.com/ Ishaan

Eventually, when they release a compilation of the Wii U-specific ROMs on a disc. (And then put the compilation up for download on eShop.)

  • GH56734

You might want to add Advance Wars was also announced for Wii U VC in Europe

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

I really hope we get the Summing knights games on there too and Moth…I mean father 3

  • Junko Enoshima

    I want Mother 3.

On the 3DS and Wii U virtual console. Someday.

  • Shuga Suenaga

i dont know why, the 3DS is capable for if not better wii graphics, at least wii level, how can they have problem emulating snes games :0

  • GH56734

They are running it on native hardware on the 3DS. they have 100% compatibility. They obviously can but won’t (because there won’t be save states?)

  • Adrián Alucard

The DS can emulate SNES games, so the 3DS should do it too

  • ZEROthefirst

Not everything emulates things as perfectly as you think. Have you ever noticed if you’ve used an emulator for anything on your computer that sometimes there are problems with games or certain settings? That’s what it’s like for different systems. They basically have to get the emulation down pact and then make sure the game runs as good or better than it originally did. The 3DS is not the exact same hardware and software as the DS so there will be differences in how things work.
