That’s more stuff than the Cave Shooting Collection from 2013 and all of this can be yours for 26,784 yen. We expect this bundle to sell out pretty fast and go out of print just like last year. Makoto Asada who produced the Xbox 360 shooters is now working at Mages, the makers of Bullet Soul.

This post would be more interesting if it included region free details.

I second this, sadly I don’t expect it to be different from what’s already there

    • Wappuli

Pretty sure that will stay the same as they were in the original releases, just like it was in previous collection too.

  • SupaPhly

so did they finally give up on the mobile market?
(yes, I know this is a compilation of games already released, just a general question)

    • Oniros

On the contrary, this seems like an attempt to milk their fans for more money. They can’t afford to make STGs anymore.

  • Wappuli

This makes me a bit less sad for not getting the previous collection.
But then again, most likely cant afford this collection either. . . :c

  • CozyAndWarm

One of the reasons I got my 360 was for shmups, so I’m potentially interested. I’ll have to check up on the region-freeness of each game though.

  • Kolibri

If you buy a 360 and that, you’ll have YEARS of gameplay awaiting for you if you want to master everything.

Believe me, this is a hell of a valuable pack.

    O_O yessssss…we needs it preciousssssss!

“That’s more stuff than the Cave Shooting Collection from 2013″

No, it doesn’t include the OSTs and artbook. Also, SDOJ got a Platinum release reprint so it can be found for pretty cheap these days.

Given that the people buying Cave 360 games are probably always the same fans, I doubt they don’t already have most of these games. I’m not sure who exactly is going to be buying this.

  • Yan Zhao

Would be nice if they bring their damn games to PS3. Cant even play these cause of 360′s stupid region lock. Except for like Espgaluda 2

    • CozyAndWarm

Most of the games should be region-free. Plus I don’t think Sony and Cave are on the best of terms; I thought Sony blocked their games from getting a physical disc release iirc.

    • TrevHead

Deathsmiles 2 (available in NA), Ketsui (has a PS3 port) and Bug Princess 1 are the only CAVE STGs I can’t play on my PAL 360 through localisation of region free.

NA misses out on Dodonpach Resurrection Black Label because even though the PAL version works on NA 360s it’s DLC doesn’t

  • Dolly

pretty much all of these except the two disc and mushihimsama 1 are region free already. (or ds2 if you’re in the eu can recall if resurrection got a na release or not yet). it’s a great deal if you want to get a bundle + jp xbox though and didn’t already buy all of these seperately. i can’t justify buying this just for mushi and ds2 though :x and a jp xbox.
