Puzzle Your Way Through This Mansion Where The Rooms Themselves Move

By Eugene . April 13, 2014 . 2:00pm

The Mansion: A Puzzle of Rooms is, at its core, a sliding puzzle game. Players strive for the exit by sliding a tile around into a movable slot, but each tile is an actual room in this toymaker’s mansion.

This is a problem for young Anne, who’s stuck in the mansion and trying to escape. Players have to not only chivvy the girl through and into different rooms, but the rooms themselves in order to form a path to the exit. As you go further in, more and more concepts get added, including bombing the floors out, poison gas to avoid and other such road blocks.

As help, you’ll be able to use special objects such as telephones that teleport to each other as tricks to help go deeper into the mansion. The Mansion is a mobile sequel to Hudson’s own Rooms: The Main Building which had the same general concept.

The Mansion: A Puzzle of Rooms is available on iOS and Android now.

Fun game, but Is this a review or an advertisement?

  • Zoozbuh

Sounds a lot like that “Rooms” game that came out for DS years ago… Looks like it might be fun, I guess.

Edit: Ah, I hadn’t read it’s a sequel to that game. Makes sense lol

Oh, a sequel. Might be fun.

  • darke

Free to download with IAP. Can’t I just buy games anymore? :(

  • Lumi

Ohh Rooms sequel. This would be nicer in my tablet. Wait, wasn’t this released pretty long back?

  • Lumi

It’s pretty fun but hit a pay wall. A dollar for each set of 72 levels, 3 such sets, and THEN there are balant consumable cheat items you can buy and perma use costumes that come with 1 use per level cheat items.
3 bucks for the full game is alright I guess.

Yeah, don’t mind about pay-for-levels; but not interested in games that you’re forced to pay for cheats in because inevitably they’ll start balancing the game around them. :(

See the recent PvZ2 changes for that result. :(
