Meet The Legend of Heroes: Trails In The Flash II’s Altina Orion

Recommended Videos

In addition to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash II’s newly playable characters, Tovar Randonneur and Claire Rieveldt, it looks like the crew of Class VII will be getting a new member in Altina Orion, a silver-haired girl who wears a cat (or rabbit)-ear hoodie. Famitsu shares more information on her in a recent report.

Altina Orion:

Altina is a mysterious young girl who has the code name of “Black Rabbit,” and controls a black puppet called “Claiomh Solais”. She seems to be associated with the nobles, and is secretly active around the empire. She appears in front of Rean and the others, but everything about her still remains unknown.

She has the same last name as Millium Orion, and her puppet (shown above, courtesy of the official website), is also similar to that of Millium’s, so there seems to be some sort of connection between the two characters.

The following two characters were in the first game, but here’s a look at them in action for Trails in the Flash II.

Millium Orion:

In the first game, Millium went around the lands of the empire and was known by her code name “White Rabbit”. She also controls a heteromorphic puppet called Agatram. Millium is also a member of the “Iron Blood,” a group that was directly commanded by the prime minister Osbourne.

She’s an innocent and friendly girl, who previously spoke of all kinds of confidential information with ease, which kind of put Rean and the others in an awkward position with her.

Garius Worzel:

Garius is a foreign student who is originally from the Nord Highlands, located on the northeastern part of the empire. He previously lived a nomadic lifestyle, but decided to go to Thors Academy to learn more about the world.

He’s one that’s good for seeing things for what they are, and was warmly trusted by the other members of Class VII from the start.

Rean will also be awakening his new powers with a special Craft called “Spirit Coalescence”. In the first game, he showed a glimpse of this immense power, but this time around, he’ll be able to control it with his new Craft.

While it’s active, it’ll change his appearance and give all of his stats a huge boost. It’ll also change all of his offensive Crafts to make them stronger. However, this mode will also limit him, as he won’t be able to use items or Arts (magic). His movement will also be limited, and he basically won’t be able to do much other than physical attacks.

For comparison, the above is a look at Rean using his speedy “Gale” Craft that hits a group of enemies. When he uses it with Spirit Coalescence, it becomes “Hidden Gale,” which is noticeably stronger.

Additionally, he’ll also be able to use the same moves as Arios Maclaine, who appeared in Trails of Zero and Trails of Blue (Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki).

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash II will be released on September 25, 2014 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
