Dark Souls II PC Pre-Order 25% Off for 24 Hours Only

By Viet Do . April 21, 2014 . 5:15pm

Update: 5/29: Dark Souls II now available on PC, the original 25% discount is over, but the discounts can only get better. Check here for the latest Dark Souls II deals

Just in time for this Friday’s release, Darks Souls II for the PC is 20% off at GMG thanks to a 24-hour only coupon.  Buyers will enjoy a much better port than the first installment by From Software; Dark Souls II on the PC will feature higher frame rate, higher quality texture, larger resolution, and loads of configuration for input control (none of that crappy controller to keyboard/mouse port experience from before).

Update 5/28: Surprise surprise! The 25% coupon is dead, but a 22% works.

On the note of higher resolution, you’re also not limited to 1920 x 1080 — essentially whatever is supported by your system will render accordingly. So for those of you on a triple monitor setups, you can enjoy an even more compelling experience as your character dies again and again.

The coupon above expires May 30th at 12 P.M. Eastern, so if you’re set on playing Dark Souls II this Friday, you might want to hop on this deal fast. Pre-order also gets you those digital bonuses we mentioned last month. This is a Steam key deal, so it’s as easy as it gets. Plug it into your library, free up 14GB of hard drive space, and enjoy playing for 5 minutes before you face death.

Man, there isn’t a 5 dollar steam sale in sight that would make me go through that again.

Might I add that loading between bonfires is about 3-5 seconds long instead on the 20+ it is on consoles

    • So true. Solid port by all accounts. Guess we’ll find out in a few days.

I played on 360, it never took over 20+ to load up. Digital.

I would be it happened on PS3, though, specially since I’m now playing Demon’s Souls while waiting for DkS2 PC. DEM LOADIN’ TIMES

I just pre-ordered from Nuuvem last week, and it cost me like $40! That’s a couple bucks I coulda saved!

I do like supporting one of the few official distributors we get in Latin America, though, so it’s cool…

Many thanks for this ! Still works as of today (24th of april). 25% off is really nice, as someone who already purchased the game for Xbox360.
