Square Enix will back Xbox One when the console launches in Japan with four games from their Extreme Edges line.

Thief, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Call of Duty: Ghosts (Japanese dubbed version), and Murdered: Soul Suspect will all be available when the console launches on September 4. Why Call of Duty? Square Enix handles Activision’s releases including the Call of Duty series in Japan.

Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III are also in development for Xbox One as well as PlayStation 4.

Who’s buying Final Fantasy XV and/or Kingdom Hearts 3 on Xbox One? I’m not trolling, I’m just curious.

    • Duo Maxwell

People who already have an Xbox One.

I know it’s kinda unusual around here but I really like Xbox, I like the product, the design, and I’m really glad KHIII and FFXV are coming for One LOL (btw, I’m still gonna buy the console)

Best of luck with the Xbox One launch in Japan, if the PS4 isn’t selling squat, I can’t even imagine how poorly the Xbox One will do especially considering the Xbox 360 has never done well there.

I was thinking the same thing. The Wii U and the PS4 are barely hitting 10K sales and the PS4 just came out there. Imagine how low Xbox One sales are going to be especially with its higher price.

Maybe the japanese consumers will surprise us and the Xbone will be a success story. We’ll see!

Japanese gamers are barely buying PS4’s and Wii U’s I don’t see the Xbox One selling a lot in Japan but I’m curious to see the first week sales numbers.

That’s very unlikely, but it’d be fun :P
