This Racing Game Puts You In Fairy Tales Like Alice in Wonderland

By Ishaan . April 24, 2014 . 3:31pm

Following two successful beta tests, MMO racer Tales Runner is up and running in North America. This is a fairy tale racing game that has you racing on tracks set in the worlds of stories like Jack and the Beanstalk and Alice in Wonderland.

The game features multiple racing modes, including PvP (where you race with up to 30 players in co-op or team races) and PvE (where you team up with a friend and play against magical enemies and bosses from fairy tales).

The game also has a social aspect, whereby you can build your own farm and raise pets (which you can also race) and grow crops to sell. You can also invite your friends over to your farm or meet with them in the in-game park.

You can view a gameplay trailer for Tales Racer above and sign up for the game here.

I feel like I’ve played something like this long ago.

I feel like i saw a game before like that…. but i’ll download it now and see if its good.
      Looks fun.

It’s been running for a long time now, so no surprise that you’ve seen it in some way or form.
I mean, I stopped playing it 5-6 years ago.

It used to be up on gpotatoe between 2008 and 2011. It was shut down, sadly. (I LOVED THIS GAME!) OG Planet recently picked up the publishing for it.

Oh man, I wanted to play this years ago but I never had a computer good enough~
I remember I played a racing game before (not this game) and people kept saying I was hacking because I guess they were lagging or I was lagging, I dunno~
Anyways, I’ll think about giving this a try finally :3

Time to spend more money on this game after already spending hundreds during the gpotato days.

TALESRUNNER!!!!! I used to play this SO MUCH 5-6 years back (yeah, this game has been going a LONG time), so much that this is the only online game I’ve spent real cash on. XD
How can I ever forget the charm and fun I felt when playing this? All the hard work done to learn the DJ jumprunning technique?
…I wonder if my HK account is still there…? Pretty sure I have more than a few characters unlocked, including Kay (Ocean), a character with a famous Cantopop singer as her VA.

Music from the trailer is from the second snow stage about the snow woman, btw. (Not ashamed about my extensive useless knowledge at all. XD)

I forgot this existed! II’ve always enjoyed these obscure online racing games. I remember playing one that looked very similar to this but you hopped around in some kind of springy contraption. Can’t remember what is was called for the life of me but I believe it closed down shortly after I got into it :/
