  • Guess it might finally be time to get Guild Wars 2.

  • Aaron Lee

Excellent deal. You can easily get your money’s worth from what it has to offer.

  • Firion Hope

Man and no sub fees, really tempting…

  • Ha! Ha ha! My friend and his fiancé got into Guild Wars 2 and bought the game about 2 weeks ago. And now it goes on sale? Am I the only one who wants to shoot Murphy before he could come up with that damn law? xD

    • ronin4life

If only we had thought to shoot him first…

      …wait a minute…

    Its a great game!
    I love it

  • Ms_Fortune

According to my /age I have played Guild Wars 2 762 hours across

all my characters during the last 609 days.

I paid full price for it, I say I got more than my monies worth, hell I still play it everyday.

Its a damn good game and the end game is hilarious fashionista, I love it.

Definitely an excellent deal. Give it a go, it’s far more worth than nearly any other MMO mentioned on siliconera, and has more gameplay than many of those combined.

Mind, I dropped it for various reasons, but I can admit its quality.

  • riceisnice

I know there are no subscription fees but it’s still an MMO. There’s gotta be a catch somewhere like an item shop?

    • Ferrick

yes there is an cash shop and gold purchase system

    • saxophone15

There is, but it’s not the pay to win kind. You will easily be able to play through the entire game and experience all of the gameplay elements without purchasing anything from the cash shop. In other words, no features are gated behind a pay wall.

If you do want something from the cash shop, it has cosmetic items and convenience items (convenience items don’t effect PvP).
