Summoning Dillion on a Starfox stage. Oh I’ve been waiting for this moment…

    • That is hilarious. x’D

What Puchi said, I had to check out his whole gallery after you posted this. Nigel Montgomery Shepard is amazing.

      • I was thinking of doing that myself.
I may have to follow him and AwkwardZombie~.

        • Göran Isacson

Does he have a site beyond Deviantart, like with Awkward Zombie? Or is it just this gallery?

          • It looks like dA and Tumblr only, sadly.

Gentleman… or rapscallion? That is the question.

uhh…this already one week old news…
c’mon siliconera, step up your game…

They’re always pretty delayed when it comes to the daily Smash photos. They generally wait for a good group all similar photos then make one article about it for those that don’t watch it daily. I don’t blame them – I wouldn’t make a daily article on it either. Just go to Miiverse for all that.

They usually gather up a week worth of screenshots and post them all at once.

  • Raymond

I wish he was a playable char but i didn’t see him having much moves anyway. Good to see him in this game and be somewhat helpful. XD

  • Spirit Macardi

Nice to see a smaller, not as well known character make an appearance, even if it’s non-playable. Nintendo knows how to give exposure to niche franchises.

  • I was looking at that pic last night~. I always forget to get on Miiverse, but I think I’m going to check it daily just to keep up with the screens.

I played at beat it when it came out, so my memory is a little fuzzy on every single enemy / boss.

    Oh god. Ornes. ORNES.

When I first saw this, I thought it was Photoshopped.

I always keep forgetting he’s a Nintendo character. He honestly looks more like he came from an indie dev.

Sonic: H-hey, don’t blame me for taking your spot! I’m just better at curling into a ball than you do!
    Dillon: *Intense stare*
    Sonic: …Shouldn’t have said that.

I was kinda hoping against hope he’d be added… But wow his model looks good.

  • hazelnut1112

I’m actually pretty happy he is actually in the game. Glad he got in the game somehow, and as an Assist Trophy is pretty good.

  • FivePointedTheStar

I always thought to myself, “Dillion’s Rolling Western has that art style that would make it really easy for it to fit into Smash Brothers.”

I’m glad that they also saw this, too. Not sure how’d he play if he were a playable character. It is a Tower Defense game, after all.

Dillon, you son of a…. too late…

  • k.b.a.

Dillon would make for a better fighter than sonic…but i forgot potential fighting ability comes third after brand power and kooky roster composition, especially with the fantasy outside of the hardcore set who want the game to be the best at what it is. Competitively eliminate your opponents through combat and space control. i.e. fighting. Just like Mario kart is still a racer. Just want a bunch of wacky beloved characters in low stakes competition where no one gets hurt or has to try? Play Mario party
