R-Type Dimensions Flies Out To The West This Month

Publisher Tozai Entertainment are bringing R-Type Dimensions to the PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe. Originally published by Irem in Japan, R-Type Dimensions contains both R-Type and R-Type II.

 

Both games can be played in classic mode, or with enhanced 2D/3D graphics. The two games also feature revamped music, Infinite Mode, Level Select, a Slow Motion feature, controller button configuration and worldwide leaderboards.

 

R-Type Dimensions will be available on May 20th in North America and May 21st in Europe.

    Oh, the intro music.

    I have this on 360. I must say that the 3D graphics are pretty annoying, I always played in retro mode, not that I played much. Then again, I’m not a fan of hori shooters, so I’m probably a little biased here.
