GameFly, the gaming rental service, just fired up an “Under $20 Blowout Sale” on select pre-owned video games. It drops titles like Tales of Xillia down to $17.99 with free shipping. That’s the lowest price it’s ever been (that we’ve seen anyways) and quite a bit cheaper than the $31.99 or $27.99 you’ll find for a used copy at Best Buy and GameStop, respectively. The stock of used games is limited at GameFly, and the offers will run through sellout or until Monday, May 19th.

For those who prefer PC as their platform, there are several retailers to watch for great game deals. Starting off, the late 2012 hit Dishonored dropped to $3.99 at GameFly after a best ever 75% instant discount and stacking 20% off coupon. Other noteworthy deals include a 20% coupon at Green Man Gaming on upcoming pre-order games. Next week Tuesday’s release of Wolfenstein: The New Order is only $48 after coupon, and ordering from GMG will get you a free Return to Castle Wolfenstein game, plus access to the new DOOM Beta.

Low, low price. Man, the prices you get when you wait a while.

  • Postnjam

you’d be a fool to not pick Tales of Xillia, it’s a fantastic game.

    • fairysun

I was a fool because I picked ToX when it was $15 on PSN few weeks ago.

    • Ric Vazquez

      True

    • KrazyBean

You’re damn right it is. CANNOT WAIT for the sequel.

Nothing personally for me, but $17 for Tales of Xillia is a real deal. Nice for anyone that wants the chance to play it now.

  • Sapitntapit

I’ve been wanting to try The Last of Us, and that’s a pretty damn good deal.

  • MrRobbyM

Into the Nexus is definitely worth that much. Anyone who has yet to play it should definitely do so now.

  • ClaireBeare

Just FYI, anyone looking for a new alternative the tales games here are $20 new but the shipping isn’t free unless over $25 total.

Nice prices, people could get some hundreds of hours of jrpg goodness for less than 100$, the PS3 Graces f-Xillia-Symphonia Chronicles combo costs a bit less than 60$.

  • Black Is a Status

I thought this was a PSN deal. foh

  • JustThisOne

Christ, Alvin! That’s creepy! It looks like he’s sneaking up behind them, and the thumbs up belongs to Jude. xD

    • Kornelious

      Jude is a Beast :P

The Last of Us for only $17 bucks? THAT’S AMAZING! I gotta go load my debit card now!

  • Ladius

It’s nice to see those discounts giving more people a chance to experience Tales of Xillia, it’s a really good jrpg and I think any fan of the genre should give it a chance. Personally I prefer to buy my games new to support the developers, but with the sequel releasing so soon Xillia’s discount could still help.

On that note, I have been waiting for Tales of Xillia 2 since the moment I platinumed the first game, and considering it’s apparently a big improvement in terms of story and battle system I must say the wait is a bit painful. Then again, the future is looking good considering we have three localized Tales games to look forward including Hearts R and Zestiria.

  • Kornelious

Oh how I live with the curse of always pre-ordering games at full price……..

  • brian

I already got Tales of Xillia, ironically, from Best Buy on clearance for $20.

  • Raltrios

I got the CE and I still haven’t been able to play it.

    Because I still don’t have a PS3 :|

  • Kenzor

I’ve seen this picture before but I just realised Alvin has his left arm around Milla’s arm (thus near her body) as she does her hands on hips pose, sneaky Alvin.

  • Afternoon Intergalactic

Wasn’t a huge fan of Xillia (not a fan of tales games in general), but the experience was definitely worth 20$. Just picked up The Last of Us (finally). Thanks for the deal guide!
