Distill The Finer Arts Of Combat To Pure Timing In Deep Deep Dungeon

Deep Deep Dungeon plays out similar to Tiny Dice Dungeon by distilling battle down to a simple, base mechanic—Tapping. Also, it appears there’s an English version on the Android store.

As players explore the dungeon with their chosen hero (Either male or female) they’ll inevitably come into contact with monsters looking for a tasty snack. Battle is as simple as a quickly running bar meter on the bottom of the screen. The yellow zone represents a hit. Red zones are automatic critical hits. Anything else and you fumbled. It can’t get any simpler than that.

You’ll be able to upgrade weapons of course, and each come with different strengths and weaknesses. The scythe, for example, has a really high critical rate with three red sections. But getting the timing just right on it is tough. There are some 30 different kinds of monsters to kill while exploring the randomly-generated dungeon.

Deep Deep Dungeon is out now on Android.

One day, the young people of the future will tell this tale:
Nintendo. Playstation. Xbox. Pc. My grandfather used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when “The Guy” kept balance between the Nintendo Tribe, Playstation Kingdom, Xbox Nation, and Pc Nomads. But that all changed when the Smartphone empire attacked. “The Guy” mastered all four consoles. Only he could stop the ruthless Smartphonegamers. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Smartphone Nation is nearing victory in the War. Two years ago, my father and the men of my tribe journeyed to the Playstation Kingdom to help fight against the Smartphone Empire, leaving me and my brother to look after our tribe. Some people believe that the “The Guy” was never reborn into the Pc Nomads, and that the cycle is broken. But I haven’t lost hope. I still believe that somehow, “The Guy” will return to save the world.

  • Thanks I’ll try this. Tiny dice dungeon is mostly great but the F2P mechanics are abusive, in the sense that you really can’t make much progress unless you pay. I’d pay 20-30$ for an uncrippled full version honestly.
