Deep Deep Dungeon plays out similar to Tiny Dice Dungeon by distilling battle down to a simple, base mechanic—Tapping. Also, it appears there’s an English version on the Android store.
As players explore the dungeon with their chosen hero (Either male or female) they’ll inevitably come into contact with monsters looking for a tasty snack. Battle is as simple as a quickly running bar meter on the bottom of the screen. The yellow zone represents a hit. Red zones are automatic critical hits. Anything else and you fumbled. It can’t get any simpler than that.
You’ll be able to upgrade weapons of course, and each come with different strengths and weaknesses. The scythe, for example, has a really high critical rate with three red sections. But getting the timing just right on it is tough. There are some 30 different kinds of monsters to kill while exploring the randomly-generated dungeon.
Deep Deep Dungeon is out now on Android.
