Twin Souls Features No Mini-Map, Making You Scope Enemies Out Yourself

Twins Souls developer Lince Works have shared a development log video that shows off a good portion of in-game footage from an early stage in the game. It highlights the fact that there’s no mini-map in the game, requiring you to scope your enemies out the the traditional way—by sneaking around.

The second half of the video goes on to show off the game’s level editor, which will be made available upon release.

Twin Souls is currently in its final week on Kickstarter, but unfortunately, the game doesn’t look like it’s going to make it. Over on Twitter, in reply to a fan, Lince Works stated: “I guess we’ll be doing another KS campaign or something [similar] later this year if needed.”

Very interesting game. Too bad it does not appear that it will make it’s goal this time. I like the designs and style.

We are so used to mini maps these days and items to “help us” – vs. going out and actually exploring an area to subdue your enemies or fulfill your objectives. Nice feature.

I hope this game will make me feel like a real ninja. I like it when a game lets me come and go like the wind :) but in this case a shadow.
Did I mention how much I like how its shaping-up?
