Every Fantasy Warlord Needs A Pretty Looking Army

Gamevil’s latest social mobile RPG game is Fantasy Warlord, where players pick up a bevy of beauties and handsome men to fight on their side against evil.

The artwork looks great, with four different races in Human, Demon, God(!) and Gaia types. You’ll have to collect different characters in order to combine and power them up into their next forms.

There’s an interesting mechanic as well in being able to “avenge” fallen allies, collecting bounties as a result as well.

Fantasy Warlord is available now on iOS and Android.

Gamevil used to make games that were actually fun to play ,mainly the zenonia series, but seeing this trend where they have to get into the card games, puzzle and dragon clone, and clash of clans clone market really makes me mad.

I wish someone would make an actual puzzle and dragons clone. The puzzle in P&D is actually fun while in all the clones I’ve seen, the puzzle is a pain. Also PD can be installed so that you don;t have to wait for it to load every time you do anything. I feel like if more games mimic some of the clever things the P&D is doing then the genre would be better all around.

So how is this game any different from Rage of Bahamut?
Aside from the fourth card type.

Probably the art style/direction. i don’t recall rage of bahamut’s art style, but that’s probably it.

Having played RoB for quite some time, I can say that it’s art style isn’t that different. Both games use a variety of different artists (and distressingly little handsome males)

    • That’s what I was just thinking

i’d rather and army i can take seriously than a pretty one.

Say what you want about mobile games, but a lot of them have some really interesting art styles.

  • Just looks like another Rage of Bahamut to me

Really need to stop calling card battling mobile games RPG’s.
