This Week In Imports: Atelier Shallie Casts A Spell In Japan

imageKoei Tecmo will release Atelier Shallie for PlayStation 3 on Thursday. The latest game in Gust’s popular alchemy series is not the only JRPG scheduled for release. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia has Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, a Vita sequel to the PSP/PsOne cult hit Over My Dead Body.


Square Enix will bring Murdered: Soul Suspect to Japan, a mystery game directed by Dissidia: Final Fantasy director Yosuke Shiokawa and the last game from Airtight Games. Will Japan give the game a shot?

  • Anyway, here’s hoping Atelier Shallie does well in the charts! Unless I’m mistaken… Gust’s stuff doesn’t do too well in Japan’s generally miserable sales anyway. But they deserve success, so here’s hoping it manages – at LEAST – >20k units.
