Marvelous recently streamed a special “Summer’s Big Breasted Festival” to celebrate the upcoming release of Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson, where they shared a look at the series’ first playable male character, Murasame.
If you’re not too familiar with Murasame, he might appear to be a talented and handsome young man, which would make sense considering he’s the older brother of Ikagura. Unfortunately, he’s actually kind of a klutz.
This is immediately noticeable at the start of the video, where you can see the kusarigama-wielder face-planting around and being awkward in general. He’s not exactly a ninja, and he doesn’t transform, so gender aside, he’s still a little… different.
Murasame doesn’t exactly excel at anything, but he still has what it takes to give enemies a beat down (in his own way). Players can get Murasame by using a save data from Senran Kagura Burst or by purchasing him as a DLC.
You can also read our earlier interview with producer Kenichiro Takaki about why he decided to put Murasame in the game.
Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson is slated for release in Japan on August 7, 2014 for Nintendo 3DS.
