Watch How Swimming And Dyeing Work In Black Desert

By Eugene . August 8, 2014 . 3:02pm

MMOSite took a couple of videos of their hands-on time with MMORPG Black Desert at Chinajoy, showing off various portions of the game.

The first one above shows them running around testing combat and other things out. Near the 4:20 mark, they also dive into the ocean and show off how you’ll be able to swim in the MMO.

In the second video below, they take a look at dyeing (Not to be confused with the other, far more deadly, dying) which looks to be at least decent in the options and places you can put some color to your gear on.

I wish you could go underwater and fight monsters but, this is a good start!

I’ll be honest I totally did confuse dyeing with dying.
its pretty neat that you can colour code your gear though.

I can picture myself just fishing and crafting and barely getting into the combat unless I have to farm for ingredients.

This game just looks so incredibly comfy.

    This game.

The wikipedia says Black Desert is a F2P, but it is expensive to joy??

It’s the first MMO I’m interested in (I don’t like the genre)

Looks beautiful as usual and the gameplay seems to be fantastic. Is it F2P?

I like the dyeing part, seems detailed and allows for tons of creativity. however the swimming animation did not looked that great when he was just standing in place his body was elevated over the water and his arms were not hitting the water, also (maybe because had sound turned off will re-watch video after work) I did not see him being able to swim under water as is the case for ESO which to me that was a HUGE turn off.
