Xbox One Has A Total of Three Bundles Coming This Fall

By Viet Do . August 13, 2014 . 3:00pm

If you build it, surely they will come? With the Gamescom reveal of the White version of Xbox One along with the special Call of Duty Advance Warfare 1TB bundle, Microsoft will have three extra ways to push Xbox One into households.  Soon after the news reveal yesterday, Microsoft made all the bundles available for pre-order on its official online storefront. (Most retailers are starting to offer it too, such as Best Buy and Amazon.)

If you’re fairly convinced you’ll want an Xbox One for the upcoming Fall 2014 games but haven’t picked one up, these are actually attractive deals available now, all things considered. Of note from the three bundles is the Madden NFL 15 bundle which comes out later this month. If you grab from Microsoft Store, they’re offering free release day shipping as an extra incentive. While there’s no word on the available shipping methods for the Sunset Overdrive or Advanced Warfare bundle, we’re fairly certain Microsoft Store will offer the same release day shipping deal — anything to get these into your house quicker ;)

Xbox One Sunset Overdrive Bundle – $399

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard that on October 28th the Xbox One will launch its first white-colored console with black trim. It will look slick to those that prefer white and comes with the Xbox One exclusive 3rd person shooter Sunset Overdrive. For the price of the current standard Black console, you’ll get the new White model with a free digital game. As mentioned in yesterday’s announcement, the game will also come with bonus digital content as a “Day One” edition.

Xbox One Madden NFL 15 Bundle – $399

If a white console isn’t as appealing and you want your console in time for the next Madden, this is a straightforward deal. On August 26th, the same day Madden NFL 15 goes live, you can get an Xbox One Bundle with the game included delivered to your house. If you pre-order by August 22nd at 2PM Pacific, the console will ship with a guaranteed August 26th arrival, provided you don’t live in the middle of nowhere.

Xbox One 1TB Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle – $499.99

For those who know 500GB isn’t enough for a collection of games, on November 3rd an upgraded 1TB Xbox One console will become available. The upgraded system will be decked out with a Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare theme, and you’ll also get the next COD for “free.” Pre-order from the Microsoft Store and the included copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be the “Day Zero Edition”, meaning you’ll get a few unique in-game bonuses and access to the game on November 3rd – a full 24 hours ahead of the official November 4th launch.

  • Sunset Overdrive bundle could use more color.

  • D-Omen

“Making more Xbox One bundles available will surely help catch them up with PS4 sales, right?”

This sounds trollish. Not that it matters to me as I’m not interested in either console, but it was worth noticing.

    • Hmm not trying to troll – perhaps a bad joke? Will edit to something more neutral.

      • D-Omen

Thanks, it’s nice to see you guys reply to feedback.

  • Koulamatata

Just give us another green Halobox and I would be more than happy to spend the money on it.

EDIT: Well, maybe not more than happy, but I would probably pick one up!

  • SaiyanJedi_Trunks

They should have done a Halo Master Collection Edition with a 1 TB.

However, the COD one is pretty attractive.

  • CK Blaze

    Sunset Overdrive pls.

  • Aoshi00

Man, twice the HDD would be useful, they fill up fast w/ all the installs.. want both the Sunset Overdrive White and Advanced Warfare.. for some reason the US always has better LE XBox systems and controllers (there’s no custom PS3s here at all).. I love my Gears 3 & Star Wars 360.. plain black’s so boring :( If I don’t have a regular 3DS XL, would want that Smash Bros one too..

  • Hector Velar

I know you are all saying “Now is the time to buy the Xbone” …BUT…if you don’t buy it now they are going to be adding and throwing more free stuff at it and better deal! So I challenge that, I don’t think Microsoft is desperate enough ;)

    • Zalin

Nope was not saying that, xbone is still the xbone the system that releases nothing but the same kind of game over and over and over again.

      • And doesn’t have a lot of exclusives. The console where they just try and trick casual gamers into thinking 3rd party, multi-platform games are only on Xbox. What the eff are they thinking doing a Call of Duty bundle instead of, say, a Halo one? Idiots.

What kind of business model is that? It was shite during the 360 years, and I’m glad it’s not working now.

  • TalesOfBS

    At least Microsoft is trying.
Nintendo got 3 exclusives coming out and no bundles.

    • Why bother? They have a Mario Kart 8 Bundle and that’s all 95% of Nintendo gamers want.

      • TalesOfBS

Do you realize how retarded that statement is?

A lot of people are looking for games Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors and Smash. Having a cool bundle that is actually attractive to the consumer (colors and console design, not that plain Wind Waker thing) would get even more people buying those or finally getting a Wii U.

  • AlphaSixNine

I’m still waiting for that one game I’ll want to play that’s only available on XBox One. So far none has caught my interest. I’ll continue to wait.

  • Kai2591

    That white Xbox One *droools*

Even comes with a game I’m highly interested in!

  • wahyudil

I want COD xbox with sunset overdrive game … too bad
