D3 Publisher is developing another version of Earth Defense Force and one of the highlights is the Air Raider unit who was introduced in Earth Defense Force 2025. The Air Raider can drop vehicles like helicopters and tanks for players to ride in. Earth Defense Force Portable V2 also has the standard soldier and Pale Wing, a flying unit, just like the PlayStation 2 game.
Also new for Earth Defense Force Portable V2 is online multiplayer. All 78 missions in the game support ad-hoc multiplayer or online multiplayer for up to four players.
Earth Defense Force Portable V2 comes out for PlayStation Vita on November 27.
