WayForward Technologies are aiming for a mid-October release for Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse in the U.S., the developer said over Twitter.

“We’ll announce the date once we have it,” Wayforward tweeted. They added, “Shantae & the Pirate’s Curse will be releasing a little later in EU/AUS due to the localization/submission process.”

As reported in the past, Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is a Metroid-style game, where the map is interconnected, and you’ll discover new items and abilities that help you access different parts of it as you play.
