Contra and Metal Slug-influenced run-and-gunner Gunslugs 2 is about 80% done and so developer OrangePixel has released a new teaser trailer to show of its explosive action.
If you weren’t aware, the original Gunslugs was released back in 2013 for mobile, mico-consoles, and PlayStation Vita and was reviewed very positively. This sequel gets off where the first game finished: in Hell. You’ll be fighting your way out to destroy the Black Duck Army and the Aliens in order to save the planet.
Gunslugs 2 has all of the over-the-top action sequences that the first did, except OrangePixel says there are more explosions, and even more ridiculous sequences (the type you’d expect in an ‘80s action movie). So it should be everything a sequel should be: bigger and better.
Regarding platforms, OrangePixel has confirmed that Gunslugs 2 will be coming to iOS and Android once again, as well as PC. One YouTube commenter asked about the possibility of a Vita version, to which OrangePixel replied: “no plans on that yet, it’s a different platform that takes a bit more planning to get onto.”
That probably means that a Vita version of Gunslugs 2 is something that OrangePixel wants to sort out but is focusing on the game’s initial development to start off with.
