Capcom is still building on Street Fighter IV by adding Omega Edition to Ultra Street Fighter IV. This free upgrade gives characters new moves like Reppu Hadoken, an attack where Ken kicks out a fireball.
It feels like Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike may have influenced some of these added attacks. Ryu will get a move called Hanagashi (forward + HP + HK) which gives him damage nullifying armor. After absorbing an attack Ryu can use some of his EX meter to do a follow up attack.
Ultra Street Fighter IV Omega Edition will bring Chun-Li’s Houyoku Sen, a super art from Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, back. You need to use two bars of her EX meter to do this attack. Capcom also changed her Kikoken command so it isn’t a charge move and gave her a special that can nullify projectiles.
Blanka is also getting a major change. Ultra Street Fighter IV Omega Edition gives him Lightning Mole, an attack where he goes underground and jumps up at enemies. You don’t need to roll to close distance anymore since Blanka can burrow. Lightning Grenade is interesting too. For the cost of two EX meter bars you can do an invincible hop into Lightning.
Capcom also shared more details about Zangief, Dhalsim, E. Honda’s sumo attacks, and Guile’s multiple Sonic Booms.
