What’s New In Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Century

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Century, is a port of Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, and will also be the third Hyperdimension Neptunia game that will be on PlayStation Vita. Compile Heart shows us what’s new in the upcoming game.

The video shows what’s new in Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Century, starting at the 1:00 mark, with a look at the revamped Treasure Search system. While exploring dungeons, you’ll find hidden boxes to acquire items.

The battle system has also been revamped to give it a more comfortable experience. Regular attacks will now fill up a gauge, which can be used to perform skills, special attacks, and the HDD transformation.

As far as the main story goes, there’s a new story with extra little events added to each chapter, along with a new scenario that unlocks upon beating the game once. Stella’s Dungeon has also been improved, and will be more rewarding than ever.

A limited edition version of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Century will also be available, featuring a “situation CD,” a Purple Heart Graphig figure, and a special card for the trading card game Neptunia Unlimited Vs. series.

Pre-ordering the game will get you a DLC code for a “Neptunication” feature, a special event that lets you enjoy communication features with Neptune.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Century will release in Japan on December 18, 2014 for PlayStation Vita.

Better save up some PS Store dollars so I can purchase the entire trilogy. Got to buy the first game by Christmas.

    • LM009

Are you talking about the very first game? Cuz you might want to pass on that one and play Re;Birth1 instead which is the remake. The original game wasn’t well-received and the gameplay after the first game is completely different. 1st game was actually quite dull for a while until near end-game when you can actually make use of the battle system.

because if this game the same as ps3 haters will say vita is a PORTable console

    • Harry Potter

      Bancho Rebirth V DLC

    • The Neptunia characters are getting man-handled?

      • DyLaN

Oh boy, that would erupt the entire fanbase XD

    • Rayhan PromisedGallery

      tsk, already fixed

  • Can’t they add in the original story or something? I never played the original PS3 games and am now loving this series thanks to Re;Birth 1. And because these remakes have changed so much from the original games, I’m watching Let’s Plays of the first 2 games, adding Victory to that list, dropping the hunt for a physical copy of Victory and adding Re;Birth 3 to my “waiting for a localisation” list.

But…Plutia is suppose to be the star in this.

    • Satoshi Ookami

Well… Plue was star of the vanilla Victory as well so it makes sense =D

    • Speedometris Maximus

Not… really. Neptune is the only character you get for the entire game. Everybody else, Plutia included, has at least one scene they sit out for.

  • Liamv2

The big question is. Are the memories as much of a bitch to get this time around?

  • Anontastic

It seems like NepNep’s hair gets softer and fluffier with each passing game…

    • Harry Potter

yeah i want to eat her hair xD

It’s called Neptune Unlimited Vs. It’s a card game.

  • Christopher C

neptunication? IFI better include this in the localizaton!

  • Will it have the Texture import feature from the console version? Most likely not. It is very sad, kupo.

  • Learii

they pop out coin like Mario? lol

  • Demeanor

Moar NepNep is always welcome (moar Nowaru even more so), but they seriosly need to come up with different moves for the characters, it must be the 3000th time I use Critical Edge, Tanzerin Trombe, Mandarin Slap and the like XD
I hope VII delivers in that regard (definitly stoked for NEXT forms!)

  • BlackGirlGamer123

I hope IF localize this and at least have about enough copies for everyone

    • artemisthemp

The only one of the issues but, the other is to make the Limited Edition available for International buyers

    • Arrngrim

NISA will localize it, HDN has been very popular and should at least continue to break even for them (if not profit).
