The two of them are searching for Barry’s daughter, Moira, who is partnered up with Claire Redfield.

  • JustThisOne

It’s sounding more and more like he could be playable. I don’t even care if it’s for small segments. I’m down! I’m DOWN. I’M SO DOWN.

    • Josh Asher

the trailer makes it completely obvious he’s playable

      • JustThisOne

Okay, I don’t know how, but I think I was so hype that I skipped over that, thinking it was a picture. I ended up just reading the article itself.

Either way, I still think it’s only for small segments. I feel like the ladies might be taking the limelight for this one.

    • I knew I’d find you in this post.

      • JustThisOne

Oh, I dunno, I’ve just been waiting for this day ever since Mercenaries took the first step. :P

    • Godman

Why with the nuts going for Barry?

      • JustThisOne

Because he’s one of the most out of place characters in the RE series. Everyone else got their own chance to shine, and finally Barry get’s his own shot. :o He’s such a goofy character. It’s partially nostalgia over the bad RE1 script, but I’m also genuinely interested on where they plan on taking his family man character.

  • Crevox

Feel like this might be a bad idea… people are going to buy one episode, get bored, and then not buy the rest.

    • ZEROthefirst

Most people are going to wait for the full release and or the boxed physical release so having an episodic release shortly before then honestly isn’t a bid deal. If you think about it that way, the same people who get bored on the episodic release will get bored on the full game as well, but they’re saving money by only buying a small portion.

  • Wow, so much hype with this trailer, absolutely love every seconds of it, haha. Barry looks good, curious to see Natalia, which I believe is the little girl from the teaser trailer.

  • Namuro

Aw yeah… Time for the sandwich man to shine!

Also, the game’s looking really good! I hope they continue to make the Revelation series… It has just the right blend of horror and action in my opinion.

  • michel

yes to the retail box set!…

  • Limbless

    Who boxed copy here?

    • César H. Sandoval

      Count me in.

      • NeoStrayCat

Same, if possible, but not at the moment, I guess.

  • John Hayabusa

They could have at least teamed Barry with Rebecca. Anyway, I am glad to finally read the details about how we are going to buy this game and its contents. Looking forward to play this and the REmake.

    • Kelechuckuw K.c.W

I have a feeling she’s a full on doctor now and looking for other ways to deal with the strains which is the logical step for her seeing she was the team medic and all. and looking at what stated with that thing in ORC with that black doctor that played the same role with the army special op’s team it only makes sense she’s doing something of that nature.

Besides if you heard of that sci-fi series the strain (which is net flicks show I believe.) where they have CDC Agents/ doctors that deal with viral stains and almost a similar theme creature from virus’s then Res should take that path as well since other stuff like anime sci -fi shows a have taken stuff to the ext level to a degree .

There are other ways to deal with this. and she should one of the people creating other ways for Leon , Chris and the other to combat the bio hazards more effectively.

hold on, 6$ per episode and there’s 4 of them, and you can buy them all for 25…is…is it actually cheaper to buy them separately? it’s only by 1 buck, but wow

    • DemonShadowX

If you buy the Season Pass it comes with the Raid Mode content. So while it is cheaper to buy them separately, you get more bang for your buck with the Season Pass. And if you wait and get the retail release, it comes with more stuff, but I’m not sure if they announced what it is.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Everything about this game sounds & look amazing! First Revelations is in my top 3 Resident Evil games. I hope Revelations 2 is going to perform good enough for Capcom so they can start working on Revelations 3 next year.

  • AndyMAX

    Capcom not being Capcom? WOW.

  • Valtiel Ikari

how I missed Barry and his glorious beard!!!

  • Hmm, why do I get the feeling that 2-3 months after the release of the last DLC. Ca(sh)pcom will release a Complete/Ultimate/GOTY/Definitive edition version?

Should we wait or get it on day one, hmm….

    • NeoStrayCat

Well, Revelations 1 didn’t get a “Complete Edition”, so its slim chances for that right now.

      • Ali

And neither did….Resident Evil 6. believe me….I waited

        • NeoStrayCat

Actually, there was, for RE6, the “Special Package”

for JP version had it, but those were DL codes to get all the content and including the JP voice pack too, but IIRC, the codes expired already, so yeah, the other “Complete Edition” is from only the US PS Store digitally as RE6 Ultimate Edition, which is still up, BTW.

        • If you get it digitally on the PSN store, you can get the RE6 Ultimate/Complete Ed. bundle.

However if you have a X360, you’re out of luck…

      • Revelations has been a while now on the 3DS/PS3/X360, plus it only has costumes as DLC as far as I know. Not complete levels like it’s upcoming sequel.

I think chances are high that Revelations 2 will get another disc release in the future with all the DLC’s.

        • NeoStrayCat

Well, although the Disc release for Rev. 2 will have what’s already mentioned in the article, its not unlikely more content will come up later. As you say. But its not just costumes, there was also weapon/enhancement packs also as DLC for the 1st Rev. And lastly, ORC didn’t get a complete version treatment either, but we all know how that game is. >_>

          • It IS Capcom we’re talkin’ ’bout so you can expect more DLC shenanigans any time soon. I’m still holding on the thought that it will get a Complete/Ultimate w/e Edition after the final DLC has been released.

I will get this game eventually, maybe Used or during ‘Black Friday’s’

ORC was a trainwreck of a game IMO… and don’t get me started on the bs DLC for that game…

          • NeoStrayCat

Yeah, lol. But eventually, you’ll have to handle the truth for thing s sooner or later, lol. I’ll still wait on things for now, not in a rush anyways! X3

  • after watching this trailer i wish barry was the main character but still this looks great,

  • Joseph A. Garcia

  • subsamuel01

Wait so theirs no retail box version for North America?

    • NeoStrayCat

Um, there is, its just gonna be out sooner or later right after the episodes/chapters are all released.

  • fenix7

Is raid mode going to be local co-op?

    • Sean ‘Geg’ Reddie

Pretty sure the game is local co-op only.

      • fenix7

Good to hear cause don’t think the first revelation had local co-op raid mode.

  • King mogz

Oh Me Gee!! Barry!! Now if only they bring back an episode with Rebecca…

  • kaisergali

All I want to know is what happened to Billy Coen and Rebecca Chambers…..Still hopefully the game can bring that feeling Resident Evil brought to all of us in the past.

    • NeoStrayCat

Would be nice to see what happened after for them, besides the RE0 ending, some closure would be nice, but I guess we’ll never know.

  • 657rod

I still don’t get why no 3DS release, I mean ok, I’ll get the PC one, but Revelations started in the 3DS, should at least recive a halfassed port.

    • Quiet Gear Soild

Still not satisfied? Wow…People these days.
