Pyramid Head Creator Shares Concept Art For Night Cry Enemy Scissorwalker

You may or may not know who Masahiro Ito is, but you’re probably familiar with some of his gross and terrifying monsters, most notably of which is Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill series.

He’s currently working on the monster designs for Clock Tower creator Hifumi Kono’s upcoming PlayStation Vita and smartphone horror game Night Cry. And, as a treat for the new year, Ito has shared his concept art for the game’s main antagonist Scissorwalker on the game’s Twitter account.

As to be expected, it comes armed with a large pair of scissors (or shears) clutched in both its hands. It also has a haggard-looking hood to hide most of its head while a sinister face pokes through from the shadows. There are also some strange ties around its neck keeping the hood piece on that look almost like they’re meant to be strangling the monster.

As we learned in our interview with Hifumi Kono and Ju-on (The Grudge) director Takashi Shimizu about Night Cry, Scissorwalker will be chasing you around on a luxurious cruise liner in the middle of the ocean. You’re stranded on the ship with the rest of the survivors and will have to solve the mysteries of the many murders on board in order to survive.
