Thanks for showing Capcom, now the surprise-factor is gone^^

    • Daniel Masterson

well since you are in control of the information you see I blame you.

    • DyLaN

I’m pretty sure those are just fodder enemies and not boss/plot spoilers enemies.

  • subsamuel01

I’m actually looking forward to playing this on PS4, wasn’t a fan of the first one because of the monster’s were just generic white blobs.

  • Ryudo9

Orthus looks like a Skullkula bred with a dog

    • Freakmasta

I see more warthog than dog.

      • Greg

You mean it isn’t a zombie pig?

  • Daniel Masterson

    I sploded earlier today.

    • DudeJericho

I hope you cleaned yourself properly.

  • John Hayabusa

Grotesque indeed and they look better than the ones from the first Revelations.

  • DudeJericho

Some happy chappys and a dog.

  • Ali

Too bad the graphics look like absolute mash. This coming from a huuge Resident Evil fan. Claire more than makes up for that though, then as soon as I realised Claire’s original VA isn’t reprising, any exitement I had dissipated

    • So in other words you didn’t care that Claire was back you just care about the VA…. Nice

      • Ali

Really dude? There are no ‘other words’ and no reading inbetween the lines either. I don’t follow voice actors, celebs, etc, that being said, as a fan I’m gravely disappointed Claire doesn’t sound like ‘Claire’ from everything (and I mean everything) I’ve seen from this game and I’m allowed to share my feelings.

Atleast Sally Cahill’s (Ada Wong’s original VA) replacement in Damnation and RE6 sounds almost exactly the same. I expect consistency, if they can’t offer that, they might as well reboot the series. Hope we’re on the same page :)

        Much apologies for the rant

        • You dont have to follow celebs or VAs to be a fan, all I saw was that you said Claire coming back was a redeeming factor but lost your excitement due to her having a different VA, this might seem out of place but I just wanna say that just cause a character has a new VA might change the way they sound but they dont change the charactEr

          • This is what I thought too Pikachu.

          • glad you thought so too Miku Hatsune.

          • JMaster3000

*Megurine Luka *cough* ….. I’m fun at parties.

          • It is a good thing you got the joke. :D

          • JeySigma

how could ANYONE mistake Raichu for pikachu??

you been living under a rock for the last 15 years?

          • itwasclearlyajoke.gif

  • Freakmasta

Orthrus does look like a monster you see in Silent Hill. Sploder is no Insane Cancer though.

  • Aaron K Stone

The Sploder totally won’t act the same as the chunk ooze guys!

  • Josef217

these look like they belong in silent hill

  • IndigoRift

I’m not high on anything, but when I see the Sploder’s stomach I get a vague image of Huff N Puff.

  • ndjn3979

    revenant looks coo

  • Alex Shadov

I played the Evil Withing not so long ago…
Revenant: Reborn Laura + Trauma + AlterEgo
    Orthrus: A copy of Sentinel
Sploder: Fat Haunted or Boomer (Left 4 Dead)

  • I won’t be happy until a cute busty monster chick follows me around because I watched her die for the lulz. Also I hope this game has a raid mode and Rachel.

  • raitouniverse

They can’t look worse than Revelation’s enemies. The one blotch for me on an otherwise decent game.

  • Elfaia

I wonder what’s the back story of all those monsters. They just look gore for the sake of being in a horror game and don’t fit into the world of RE.

    • Tom

      Agree. Especially that Boomer ripoff.

  • Namuro

That’s pretty cool. Though, these guys really don’t scream “science gone wrong”, but more like “abominations from hell”, but I like it quite a lot!

The first revelation did a really good job on making the enemies relevant to the aquatic theme. I can see these guys fitting quite well with the current old, rusty, dark, and confined space theme of the prison island.

Yep… I think I’m gonna need to play this game with a friend… XD

  • ThePawnWhoSawLuBu

They don’t look bad imo, but showing them around in gaming sites and giving them names is lame.

  • tubers

    Like the top/1st one :)

  • AnimusVox

    Dat revenant

  • Hagaren

Last one looks like those damn exploding ones from Devil May Cry 3.

  • PuppetMaster

Sploder looks like Boomer from L4D or Boombie from Dead Nation. But no problem for me. I just want to play as Claire (and Barry) again :3

  • Josh Asher

I thought the enemies were supposed to be tortured, insane humans that are still human, alive and not infected? These things certainly look infected/undead to me.

Still the designs are really cool and disturbing. I especially like the revenant, that’s one of the sickest monster designs I’ve seen in awhile.

  • Michael Cortorreal

Sploder huh…I totally hate the monsters that blows up once you shut them down…>.< specially since devs just loves to put them in place where is little space to move!

  • Rolling Guy

Monster 1 and 2 is definitely giving me a Silent Hill vibe.

  • Ors Ferdya

Not bad.If the ideas run out,you can always borrow at colleagues or maybe they would buy the rights to SH.I hope would mode, where would many characters.
