Japanese indie game developer Takayuki Yanagihara is bringing his award-winning action-puzzler TorqueL to Steam on January 22nd. Playism is publishing the game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

TorqueL has you playing as a man inside a square that uses to roll across the hazard-filled 2D levels. The four sides of the square correspond to a button each, and when pressed, a long block extends from that side. Using this, you have to push and roll the square over lava pits, around moving machines, and up to high platforms to reach the level’s exit.

The game has 50 puzzle chambers to beat with seven basic routes and one secret route to discover. At the Tokyo Game Show, it won Dengeki’s Game Award of Excellence in the “Indie” category. It was also given the Indie Stream Award 2014 for Best Game Design.
