Let’s See Those Hatsune Miku Moves

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX isn’t as comprehensive as the Project Diva series when it comes to custom creations. The Dance Studio option is far more rudimentary in the Nintendo 3DS game. Still, there are benefits to this. It means its easy to share performances with friends over both StreetPass and SpotPass by attaching your favorite number to your profile card.

Dance creation is incredibly simple in Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX. In the simple mode, players able to automatically press up, down, left, right, A, B, X, or Y to insert and repeat moves. Such actions will be randomly assigned. Those who want to put a little more care into it can go with an Advanced option that shows every dance moves, allows previews, and provides the sort of organization that’s uniquely yours.

The thing is, as simple as the Dance Studio tool is in Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX, putting it to good use can be more difficult than it seems. People are putting together a performance for a full length track, which could make some creation quite tedious. You have to admire people who have the dedication to put in that sort of effort. Especially if they also go to the trouble of putting these performances online.

Which brings us to the following, an accumulation of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX performances. These people put the time into not only creating custom choreography, but also sharing the dances online. Check them out and maybe get some ideas for your own shows.

Dennis Lay has Miku doing some new moves to "ShakeIt!".

Demonskid decided to see how Luka would look in this "Happy Synthesizer" original.

ShadowJae’s showing a fancier Miku performing "Senbonzakura."

Finally, we have Shekie’s Luka performing some "Sweet Magic."

It all goes to show that some pretty promising performances can be put together in Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX, if someone has the time to invest in the editor.
