Over 10 Million Yo-Kai Watch Games Shipped So Far

Now that Yo-Kai Watch has seen an installment released outside of Japan, and as well as another spin-off within the country, Level-5 has revealed shipment figures of the series on a global scale. Back in March, the official sales count for the series was over seven million copies sold. Now, as of December 1, over 10 million copies of Yo-Kai Watch games have been shipped worldwide.

Between March and December, there have been two major Yo-Kai Watch releases. Japan received copies of Yo-Kai Watch Busters back in September, a beat’em up divided into Red Cat Team and White Dog Corps. Jibanyan is the mascot for the former, and Komasan represents the latter. Then, the first week of November, North America received the first Yo-Kai Watch game.

These figures don’t yet account for Australian and European sales of Yo-Kai Watch. The first Nintendo 3DS game is coming to Australia on December 6, and has a 2016 release window for Europe.

Yo-Kai Watch 3 will be released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2016, and Japan will be getting Yo-Kai Watch Dance: Just Dance Special Version, the Nintendo Wii U game, on December 5. Further entries in the series have yet to be announced for other regions.
