Co-Op Shooter Livelock Brings A Machine War To PC, Consoles In 2016

Perfect World Entertainment may be best known for its MMORPGs but its latest reveal, surprisingly, isn’t one. It’s a fast-paced cooperative top-down shooter called Livelock by developer Tuque Entertainment.

It’s set in the nearly post-human world of the 22nd century. Machines rule and constantly fight each other for the resources left on Earth.

You play as Capital Intellect – a human consciousness uploaded to large mechanical body – who, it is said, “must fight the corrupted machine Clusters and break the cycle of an infinite war, before humanity is forgotten in the annals of history.”

Livelock will be launching for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2016 and it will be the first buy-to-play game of Perfect World’s catalog.
