Meet Magnolia Arch In Nintendo’s Newest Bravely Second Trailer

Recommended Videos

Nintendo has released a new Bravely Second trailer. The video focuses on Magnolia Arch, one of this entry’s new party members. The video begins with an unidentified person watching Magnolia as she defeats both human and monstrous enemies, before she finally introduces herself and identifies the “viewer.” (Spoiler: it’s someone familiar.)

Magnolia’s introduction also shows her use of the Bravely Second ability, one of the hallmarks of the Bravely series. In a dire situation and out of Brave Points, she uses Bravely Second to temporarily freeze time. She then takes out the enemy in one hit while time is stopped. In game, Bravely Second allows you to stop battle at any time and have a party member perform an action.

Europe will see Bravely Second on February 26, 2016, 18 days before its April 15 North American release. A 10 hour demo will come to both regions, with Europe’s arriving on the eShop when it updates on February 11. The North American demo release date has yet to be announced.
